Great taste, BAD ATTITUDE rolling eyes from the young lady this morning with nose ring...I let my 6y/o place her order she told the young girl chocolate doughnut while pointing to an éclair and said a regular one too, I pointed to the éclair and stated I would like one too... So with attitude she said which one, I replied "I was pointing to an éclair". There were no glazed in the case in front so her question wasn't relevant... She preceeded to put my order in the register and walked off, I slid my card and the option came up for tip I hit none the next screen was we emailed your receipt... I requested from her a receipt, with her LARGER ATTITUDE she pointed to the register and said it will give you an option I said "No ma'am, it has emailed" she came over printed the receipt and walked off.... As if my little 9.18 didn't matter to her... I have always worked in the public and you NEVER let your bad morning/day effect your JOB.... To the current ownership of Johnson's Bakery have a talk with her...she was up front during that time alone and yes it was a line, so if she can't work under the pressure any longer.... get young lady with attitude & nose ring out from the front...
Sincerely...
Read moreAmazing food! World's best doughnuts! I had their turkey and pesto sandwich, it came on a toasted ciabatta bun and was very well done. They mixed the pesto into a mayonnaise-base, and it absolutely hit the spot. Then, for dessert, got a half dozen doughnuts and tried their original glazed doughnut (absolute favorite), their chocolate covered and glazed cake doughnuts (tied for second favorite, they have a crispy outside, and they are super thick and rich), and their chocolate glazed sprinkle doughnut was for my kids (needless to say, the kids devoured and were super happy). ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND Johnson's Bakery to anyone that is stopping by or visiting Perry. You haven't had a real doughnut until you've tried theirs, nobody can compare...not...
Read moreI have heard how wonderful the donuts are here, for years, and how Johnson's sort of compares to our local favorite donut location. So, my family decided to finally make the drive and try them on our way on an out of town trip. Unfortunately, we were highly disappointed. Although some were decent, the majority were not. Most tasted like grease, which typically means the grease the donuts are fried in needs to be changed. They are much heavier in density and really don't compare at all to our favorite. I wish them continued success, my family just won't be recommending them to anyone, nor will we be returning there again. We'll stick with our local favorite...
