The one star is for the lady who seated us she was very nice and funny. But i wish i could give the restaurant and all other employees tonight 0 stars. The lady seated us quickly and even joked around with us we got our drinks. Went to use the restroom and there was no hot water. My cup looked slightly dirty. The plate was sizzling but the shrimp was cold. The flour tortillas were the hottest food we had. I had to drench my rice and beans in lime juice just to keep the food down. Even then the food made me feel sick. Ive never been so discussed with food before. Ohh did i mention the service we got? It was Horrible! We had 4 different servers and none of them asked if the food was good or even checked on us. As for my enchiladas the sauce was sweet. It was completely gross and i feel like i need to throw up. We went home and brushed our teeth immediately! The guacamole was gross as well as the salsa. I also asked for sour cream and extra enchilada sauce (Before i had tasted the nasty sweetness) but never received it. A server stopped and asked if we wanted a refill of tea we processed to tell him it was coke so he sat the glass back on our table and never got another coke from him. The food should have just been free. Ill never be eating here again. I feel like all their "Good" reviews are fake. I dont know how anyone can choke this food down. This is my second time here and the food is delicious! I had the Steak Tacos and they tasted like authentic street tacos I would get back home in California! The flavors were delicious! Their salsa is great and has a great flavor! Everything we have ordered has been perfect. I’m pretty picky about Mexican food, growing up in Central Cali I had access to a lot of authentic Mexican restaurants and family friends that made amazing food. This place is a gem! Don’t let the few bad reviews fool you!

Update months later: Ok so I’ve been back several times and the experience has changed… I revised my review to reflect that. The salsa has changed it’s not as good and tastes like it has oregano in it. It’s just not as good as it used to be, it tastes more like store bought. I was so impressed with the salsa the first few times at the beginning of this year. Also when they brought out our cheese dip there was barley any in the dish it was just barley covering the bottom of the bowl. Sometimes the staff is inattentive. They leave your glass empty and play with their phones. Overall the food is decent, some things are better...

This was the strangest dinning experience I have had, just weird. First off, this review is written for the correct restaurant ( prior reviews were answered by the owner claiming that the reviewer had the wrong location). We walked in and were seated. We immediately noticed how run down and dirty the restaurant was. There is zero decor with orange and purple walls. A short dividing wall , also in orange, was absolutely filthy. Why we stayed I do not know, bad decision. Just reluctant to leave once you are sitting The food was overly salty and like the other reviewer said, the pork carnitas were bland and at least a day old. All the food was below average but ok to eat, The weird part was the staff of young men spent the entire time we were there huddled in a group laughing, and 2 we’re actually wrestling each other on the dining floor. We waited quite a while (while the group was ignoring us and horsing around) for our check. Due to the attitude of the staff, I felt intimidated to tip.
