The Grove — Restaurant in Petaluma

I stopped by on a Saturday afternoon to check out this new place. After experiencing the ambiance and having a couple of delicious cocktails couldn't wait to come back and try their food. Was able to return with a friend who as I am a "seafood lover". We experienced their "HAPPY HOUR" menu and ordered a couple of their special cocktails and enjoyed the Anchovie Toast, OMG like a Ceasar Salad, in a few bites!! Forget that Avocado Toast!!The freshest local oysters on the Half Shell, their BBQ'd oysters, then got their outstanding chef to indulge us with an couple of his rendition of Oysters Rockefeller and so throughly enjoyed the Fried Green Tomato's!!! I couldn't be happier to have found a wonderful dining experience in the wonderful town of Penngrove! The Craft Cocktails, there is something for everyone!!! I just found this little place in Penngrove. It’s fantastic. The vibe is upscale historic country/ big city. Yeah, I know it’s contradictory, but you just have to see it to understand.

There is an outside area off the street so not much road noise, inside is nice and you forget your in Penngrove.

It’s a place that does great cocktails and fancy drinks, but admittedly I am finishing my visit with a copra light as I write this. My Sunday bartender Jason has treated us well. There is occasional live music.

Came to the grove with some friends to grab some drinks and a bite to eat. We were seated immediately and our drink order was quickly taken. The restaurant was busy but the staff was efficient and extremely friendly. Our server Tanisha was funny and genuine. We had multiple dishes including the steak and fries, the burger, the fried green tomatoes, and the chicken skewers. Everything was cooked perfectly and had incredible flavor.
