They messed up my order.I ordered scrambled eggs, hash browns, biscuits and gravy, pancakes and 2pieces of country sausage. They brought me my food but with 2 sunny side up eggs and didn’t bring my sons order.I told the food runner I ordered scrambled eggs and she said ok.Meanwhile,I had no silverware and no syrup for pancakes and not enough sugar for coffee.I requested those things while waiting for my scrambled eggs. They finally brought silverware and my sons order but they messed up his order. He ordered a turkey ranch sandwich with no lettuce and tomato. It had lettuce and tomato so he let the runner know again. She took it to the back and all they did was remove the lettuce and tomato instead of making him another one.It still had several small pieces of lettuce and a couple tomato seeds. What if someone was allergic to lettuce and tomato’s that could be fatal for those to touch other parts of the sandwich. Finally my waitress comes and looks at my plate and tells me they gave me another persons order. That place is crazy. This was my 2nd visit there and I will not be returning.First visit the sandwich had a hair right in middle of sandwich in melted cheese. Also my food sucked. The scrambled eggs, biscuit and gravy and especially the hash browns tasted bad to me.The pancakes were not great but edible. The coffee was good and the country sausage was probably the best sausage I’ve had in a restaurant in years.I’m sorry to say I won’t be returning here even though it’s very convenient.Oh they brought my son the wrong drink also.I was very disappointed in the food and overall experience here.Especially for the final cost and the very little food we actually ate cause food...
Read moreIts a wonder this place isn't more busy at night! We had a wonderful experience tonight, having dined in with Carrie and Aaron as our servers. Aaron let us seat ourselves and gave us menus, making sure we got drinks quickly and politely giving us time to browse the menu. Being a family of three we ordered one appetizer and three meals. The appetizer (shrimp basket) came very shortly after ordering and it was cooked perfectly; nice crunchy outside with a soft, melt-in-your-mouth shrimp inside. Just before it made it to our table, Aaron tripped and a couple of fries popped out of the basket. He was very apologetic, but we let him know it was fine! He came out with more fries anyway, which we happily ate. Aaron soon came out with our meals; we probably waited only 15 minutes for them and only Carrie and Aaron were working tonight. Everything looked just like the pictures! Fresh, hot food that tasted phenomenal. I don't know how they expect people to order off the dessert menu, we were stuffed halfway through but soldiered on... and still needed to-go bowls. Aaron offered to-go cups as well, which you don't see too much. Overall, Carrie and Aaron were very polite, funny, and accommodating. I can't believe how fast they (two people) cooked everything while still having the food look picture-perfect; the definition of efficiency. I will absolutely recommend Huddle House to anyone looking for great food and excellent customer service, and we will definitely...
Read moreNot up to the standards I expect from Huddle House. Ordered the Veteran's two Sweet Cake special with a side of bacon and coffee. One of the cooks had to take my entre order because after asking for my drink preference the server never returned, not even with the coffee. Although there were at least two servers working and the restaurant was not crowded service was very poor. My Sweet Cakes were cooked on a grill that hadn't been scraped clean and had black bits of other food stuck to them. My bacon wasn't placed on the grill until the Sweet Cakes were almost done so I was half finished with the Sweet Cakes when the bacon arrived. As a result of the above the young man who seemed to be the server said my meal was no charge. This location appears to be very new and as such was very clean. It is obvious that some serious training is in order. For instance I know that it is a Huddle House policy that at least one staff member greets each customer on arrival. That is such a basic customer relations act that it should be automatic for each employee. Servers should not rely on grill staff to take orders from counter customers. Since the restaurant was not crowded there was no impact on other customers when the cook came over to take my order. I will give this location another try on one of my future trips between Florida and Virginia. Hopefully it will...
