Hometown Restaurant — Restaurant in Peterstown

It's as close to perfect as any restaurant can be, (which is rare in that) and we know nothing is perfect, so it's got my best rating possible. Also as times goes on and life changes, it's becoming one of the few (not too distant years) too short of "classic" (why not with other stuff besides cars, lol) or "historical" business attraction bc it displays a quaint, consistent country cooking atmosphere and replicates this small town, hard working, living and business all in one in our little town. I am grateful for that. We can't all be as successful but this is a good influence of the hard work the Fox family has dedicated themselves to, along with family and we All know how important that is. Although I am familiar with the family, I don't much on a personal basis, but it came to mind to post this because times are changing and a compliment should be mentioned when a compliment is thought as we all need a little inspiration from time to time.I wish them all the best and better...

Ordered the ribeye and eggs, the steak I ordered medium and came back mixed almost like either it was microwaved or the center of the pan was hot. Dead center was over cooked while the rest of it was dead Raw with only the top layer was brown. The eggs had absolute no flavor. I took one bite of my steak and ended up giving it to a friend. Even they didn't like it either. I will say that customer service was wonderful and they were very nice. Good pricing, but the quality of the food was under the price paid. I loved all the Christian decore, but the only crowd I have ever seen is those who are the sweet older people. I do believe it's due to lack of modern decor and quality of food. The quality of the food I'd say would be cafeteria food from schools. I hope that the quality improves the next time I attempt for another chance to improve the rating. As I only...

I want to say it is great because it is a small restaurant in a small town, but my experience was not great. My parents had the buffet, and I ordered a corn dog and fries. My parents had eaten from the buffet twice, plus their dessert, when I was finally able to flag down the waitress to ask about my food. She said she would check. Comes back out and says they are working on it. A family that came in at least 20 minutes after us ordered from the menu and got their food quickly. I ended up telling her to cancel my order.
