Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Virginia

I'd leave a "Zero" star review if possible. I'm not sure who owns this place but I think they need to reevaluate some things. The food we ordered come out burnt but I knew if I brought it to their attention they'd be as rude to me as they were when I made a 2nd to go order. They ran my card, gave me a receipt and I sat down. Then they come to me and said "Sir, there's something wrong with your card." I go up to the register and show my receipt and the red headed Male manager "Daniel" comes over and starts saying well since there's no card number on the receipt, the transaction never went through. So while I'm checking my account he continues to sit there and state rudely how its clear that it never went through when in today's world you can never be safe with your money. It took me less than 2 minutes to check everything but yet the entire time he acts like hes in such a rush and has an attitude towards me. My family and I wont be back since he's chose to act the way he did tonight. Not worth the wait in the long lines or paying for the items on the over priced menu. They have a new guy cooking and he's just slow, and his appearance is sloppy and unprofessional. This certain cook at the dairy queen in fairlea WV needs a new job or better training for his position because we have eaten there a few times and not once has our order we waited way to long for been correct. It's awful when they are slow and I'm the only customer and my simple order is still missing items on my receipt and the food that was in the bag was completely wrong. I just won't be wasting my money or time until they decide to get someone in their kitchen who actually knows fast food and wants to learn...

Frozen foods like milkshakes, blizzards and smoothies are the saving grace most of the time here. On the other hand the burgers are usually dry and thrown together, the chicken following the same dry spell as the burgers, the fry's seemingly always too oily. Most of the breakfast menu follows in suit, for the prices you pay for the food, (Menu price hike after renovation?) they're mostly better options available. The service itself is always quick and snappy, Unless they get your order wrong then you'll be there for a while, but everyone that works here is nice, it's just the food that could be improved on and the presentation of said food.
