Beka's Food Service At Polonia Hall — Restaurant in Philadelphia

I feel slightly iffy to give a review considering I have not actually been inside the hall (I will eventually) but that is why I will give 2 stars because I don’t want to be completely unfair. I’m sure their food is amazing. I will keep you posted and If the food/ ambiance is nice I will come back and do another review with better rating based on that when the time comes. Unfortunately I am putting up this review due to covid circumstances. Let me start by saying I completely understand that there are covid restrictions in effect. Just because there are covid restrictions in effect does not mean you cannot answer emails in a timely manner. This place is unprofessional and responds poorly during this time. A bride should not need to reach out non stop to find out updates. The venue should be reaching out with updates as needed. I also would like to add that when postponing a wedding- all options should be open. Instead the bride (my friend) was only given months that were actually not of preference because the person at the venue has already taken her money for a deposit and know that they won’t be booked as easily during those months. She refused to show anything in popular months that my friend had wanted AND ORIGINALLY HAD- because she knows that the venue will get booked by someone else EVEN THOUGH IT HASNT and wants to block off those months for potential weddings.

I can promise you after this wedding this will be the absolute last time I ever do...

Went for a 40th Bday and was shocked at how beautiful this place is! Food was excellent, nice size bar (made great cocktails), great service! Perfect for a fabulous wedding!! No parking like most places in the area but don’t let that stop you. Could not believe how amazing this hall is and how I never knew about it until tonight!! We were here for a wedding. This is a beautiful hall I would not exactly expect for the area. Everything looks so tiny from the outside. You do have to take a walk for parking (about a block), one entrance has stairs into the first doorway, and more stairs once you enter. There is a handicap entrance on the opposite side.
