I have health issues that affect my diet, so I always get Jerk chicken (pictured above) or stew chicken and a double side of cabbage. My husband tries different things - oxtail, rice and beans with gravy, curried goat - all fabulous!! I would say that it might be hard to know this place exists, but once you find it you will always go back!!! We were told about it and it's always a special day when we go. Read moreMy daughter told me about this spot. This is the best Jamacian restaurant of all time. I've tried several other places and none compare. I always come back to J&J. Their food taste so authentic it's like being in Jamaican without catching a plane. I live in Sharon Hill and when I get in my car to travel here I know its well worth the ride. On the way home after getting my jerk chicken, rice& peas and cabbage the aroma lights up my car. Read moreMenu was short sweet and to the point. Place had this dark cozy vibe lol. No phone number. I got oxtail and curry goat. Some places don't let you mix them so that was cool. The oxtail was dang near PERFECT compared to what I've had around here. The curry goat was REAL curry spicy lol it was so tender. I asked for the cowskin and they said they didn't have any. I was at least impressed that it was an option because I have a hard time finding cowfoot around swp. Next time I'm ordering more oxtail...
