Yum yum yum! I heard about kEEBOOM thru the grapevine. Word of mouth has made the establishment very successful. It's not a dine in restaurant which causes only one issue. This black owned establishment has a nice menu of soul food platters and a la carte items. My first meal was lamb chops with spinach and Mac. Everything was amazing. They offer heavy portions sizes. There was enough food to share and have leftovers for a second meal. The second time I purchased the salmon roll platter with spinach, Mac and yams. Those yams should be illegal. They may be the best yams I've ever had. I also purchased a boom burger platter with broccoli and Mac for my son. That was so good I didn't get a chance to taste any, it was gone but not forgotten. The last platter was whiting with same sides. The amount of fish in the platter is insane. Nothing needed seasoning, or any condiments. The salmon rolls come with a sweet tangy red sauce and the burgers have a sauce that may be mayo based. I'm guessing, bcuz my son destroyed his platter. All the platters were packed with food and delicious. I'm not sure if my food was hot on pickup. I don't live in the area, so it is necessary to use the air fryer to reheat. The wait for food is usually long 30+ mins. If you use a card for payment there is a $2 flat additional fee and you MUST have ID no exceptions! No fee when paying in cash. If you call in your order, keep in mind that it will not be prepared until payment is received. Ask questions when you call. The staff was polite and informative. If you order at the store, do not go inside. Orders are taken at the window where the menus are posted. Have your ID and last 4 of your phone number to avoid confusion, picking up your food. When your food is ready, you will receive a phone call. It's been my experience that caller ID does not identify as kEEBOOM, so answer your phone. Order, Eat and Enjoy you will...

I had the opportunity to visit Chef keebooms place of business. I came across on social media. The food looks great. The soup is what grabbed my attention. I went to get soup my son wasn’t feeling well. Let me tell you Soup gives it 5 stars The soup is pricey $20.00 for lg and $15.00 half size. The soup had me craving for more when back another day. It was a different experience the staff ran out of previous containers. But it was nothing compared to when I first went it was everything in the soup corn…green beans… chicken..potatoes I believe…sausage etc. When tasting the next time it tasted more like vinegar and it was hardly no vegetables/ chicken etc. I will mention I took it back and mentioned it wasn’t nothing in it but mostly liquid few veggies not mouth watering like the first. I showed the young lady we looked at each other and she made it right. I am glad she made it right customer service is a lost Art. Ppl will be quick to tell you sorry instead of doing quality / damage control. I did go back another time the soup was ok I did pay for a side of Mac my bill was $29.00 dollars. I thought a side of Mac was $6.00 dollars. I did ask for my receipt but she forgot to give it to me. I actually ordered a full platter 3 time eating here . The yams were good Mac & cheese was ok. Don’t go if you’re starving!!! I’ve waited so long to try this place after everyone kept raving about it. I must say my food was delicious and the servings were healthy!!! But the wait time and customer service was absolutely ridiculous. I ordered online for pickup before 6pm, the site told me it would be 70-85 mins which would’ve been 7pm-7:18 (see pictures) When my husband arrived they told him 20 more minutes… after the 20 mins he was then told it wasn’t ready and that they would call him. After waiting for some time and asking was it ready still nothing and still saying random times like 20mins. One of the times he was told they were waiting on broccoli (which wasn’t even part of the order). After waiting for a while again and asking how much longer it was “not that long”. After 1hr and half waiting they proceeded to tell my husband that the stuffed salmon was just going in the oven and that he probably wouldn’t want to wait for it to come out. He was told that the grilled salmon was ready and that we would be refunded for the stuffed salmon platter bc it was not ready and for the long wait. We were NEVER refunded. (So we paid 30 for grilled salmon.) My husband got the food around 8:50. So we waited over 2.5 hours total (ordering-physically having the food) for something we didn’t even order smh. It’s gonna take a while for me to even consider coming back after spending $70 plus dollars and getting something I didn’t even order. If they weren’t going to refund us they shouldn’t have said so and we would’ve just waited for what was ordered or just got a total refund...
