Terrible service. Ordered on the slice app at 6:01pm. My order said on the way at 6:36pm. I call at 7:16pm to see where my order was. They said leaving it’ll be there in 10 mins. I wait til 7:40. Still no food. I go to the store to request a refund they said the driver already left with my order. But they didn’t get my order through the app until I called. Why wouldn’t the lady tell me that when I called to get an ETA in the first place. So they hurried and made my order at the last minute. I go back home and I’m missing food and 2 items were made wrong. I drive BACK to the store and the guy said he didn’t see the other steak so he’ll make that one but wanted me to go BACK home to get the 2 steaks that was made incorrectly. Like what?? So he ends up making me the 2 steaks over anyway. This was such a terrible experience. And very unacceptable to receive my food 2 hours later which was wrong and cold. Which they said it wouldn’t be. I pay for delivery but still somehow have to go there TWICE. I spent $84 on this order and all they could say was sorry about that. Not even offer me anything for the inconvenience that they’ve caused me. Didn’t offer me a can soda or nothing. Just terrible customer service. And don’t even think about responding because there’s no way you can convince anyone that what y’all did was right. When I called they should’ve been honest and said they didn’t get the order and I would have canceled. Instead, they still made my order to keep my money and acted like it...

Ordered via phone two portions of fish and chips. Was asked what two sides I wanted, said coleslaw. I picked the order up and when I got home there were NO chips in the container. I called back and was told that chips are a side. This is not at all clear, fish and chips go together, chips are NOT a side, they are a meal together. The menu states "Fish and Chips, not "Fish and two Sides.". For what I received it is very expensive, almost $32.00. Photo of one meal attached. Four small pieces of fish, two small containers of coleslaw and tartar sauce. The fish does taste good but the meal, if you can call it that was definitely not worth $16.00, a disgraceful experience, never recommend this place. I was not nasty or belligerent when I spoke on the phone but I made it clear I will NEVER use them again. I have been reading other low rated reviews and noticed that Pete's always responds in a similar way, sorry, we will make changes, give us another chance. They do nothing to improve or even try to compensate for bad service. I will NEVER use them again. Please read through some of the negative reviews and you will get my point. Unbelievably, there are so many of them. I have looked at recent reviews and they are still getting so many negative comments. So I am looking through my yelp reviews today and realized I never wrote a review for this place! I have been here twice since moving to New York. Whoops. Anyway this is one of the first spots that comes up when you search trendy restaurant in NYC. I first came here with my dad when he was visiting because he is a big fan of high end asian fusian food.

When you first walk in the restaurant is beautiful. You can tell this is a sort of scene-y spot in meatpacking. The ambiance is fun and a bit loud, which my dad does not like. Sorry dad. We were seated downstairs but made sure to pause for a nice picture on the staircase overlooking the dining room. Now onto the food.

When my dad and I go out to dinner we like to order more than we can actually eat but this time I think we did pretty good. We ordered the lobster egg rolls to start. They were fried to perfection and nice and crispy. They steamed just slightly when you bit into them to find the tender delicious lobster. YUM. Just order them they are so good. And we got the chili rock shrimp which was also amazing.

Now onto the main course. We ordered the jumbo shrimp, the black pepper beef, and lobster fried rice which was equally delicious. We were clearly in the mood for lobster.
