Uptown Grill — Restaurant in Philadelphia

This place needs to be shut down. They have a ignorant way of speaking to the customers. I've called and asked a simple question regarding a platter I wanted to order and the man totally got nasty with me and hung up in my ear I felt bad because I said I would never order any food from them again but my granddaughter wanted something from there. The last time I ordered from there they were nasty to me. I don't like using the word hate but I hate this store and the people that own it and the people that work in it. They're horrible. If you are black you should not take your money to them. No more. They have no respect for us but yet and still their business is run on our dollars and cents don't...

We were very excited to eat here given the reviews. We were seated quickly and ordered within 5 minutes. We then waited over 40 minutes to get our food while others who sat down after us were served and had finished eating. When our food came my husbands omlette was super hot and my mom’s food and mine were cold. When Heather S.(our server) asked how things were I told her our food was cold and only my husbands was hot. Her response was “wow, that’s something because they all came up at the same time”....so, I guess I was lying? Then walked away. Will never go...

It’s good but they make the prices as they go one day 9 the next 17 the next 11 and no receipts menu price way different from what they say platter is one price but will charge separately for each thing cheese extra butter extra jelly extra salt and pepper extra egg platter eggs ares charged separately the other day I payed 37 for 2 pancakes and a egg platter which is supposed to come with grits or home fries I was charged 37 I didn’t even get cheese no receipt they say yeah extra good...
