West Point Pizza — Restaurant in Philadelphia

FOOD TAMPERING!!! PLEASE READ IN FULL

I use to love this food spot. I’ve ordered faithfully over the past year to year & a half. However yesterday everything changed. Long story short I ordered a wings & a small pizza through DoorDash. I get to the establishment get in line the cashier is talking to another patron no big deal.

I’m waiting for my food, the app says it’s ready. I get to the front & ask for my food only part was given. I asked for the Pizza & the guy walks to back & ask the cook if he had it. The cook makes a joke saying no. They both start laughing. The cashier strolls to the front & ignorantly says “I don’t know what to tell you it’s not ready, they haven’t started making it & it’s going to be a while”, with a big smile on his face. I immediately became serious, but not disrespectful or condescending and simply asked “when will the pizza be ready” he answered 5 to 6 mins. I went to my car & sat & waited. In the doordash app the order is marked completed & picked up.

I rushed into the store & questioned the staff as the unprofessional cashier who I spoke to & the cook were gone or out of sight. They handed me the pizza. I had to run errands, so i came home after the pizza shop was closed. Warmed & bit into the pizza & the pizza was tampered with.

So basically he had the cook or the cook himself tampered with my food because I became annoyed with them for making a joke about frustration. I didn’t disrespect anymore, yell none of that. The staff was unprofessional & ignorant but despite that I let it slide. However tampering with my food is another ball game. Please do not eat from here they will tamper with your food. It took a few conversations to prevent me from responding a different way to this situation. Please do not...

I literally just simply called to get some guided direction or my order being processed and correctly and the rude ignorant woman on the phone told me to contact doordash because that's where I ordered my food from if you don't come down as far where I live from the restaurant's address well obviously y'all do deliver food here, the food is at my house, so they were already incorrect on that, and if you receive orders through doordash that you need to be willing to hear a person out before you rudely direct them where to go where you ordered from if you don't want to hire a person problem then why you with doordash or grow up in the first place just simply stick with your phone orders and your menu orders I instantly will never recommend this place to another customer I already hate them end of the New...

I let my children order from this store for quite some time. This particular instance I actually tasted the pizza which was very salty. I refused to let anyone in the house eat it. Make a long story short the owner/ co-owner did not reimburse me. I was shocked to find that he would be willing to risk losing a long time customer. Finally they had a ignorant young lady step as if shw wanted to fight. I definitely didn't know stores had female body guards for bad service. This is probably the sane rude lady who sometimes answer the phone. As I see from the other reviews Westpoint Pizza is bad business. People reading this please remember to not settle for anything.
