Now I did not get to order my own food or try anything, however I was picking up with UberEats. When I arrived I noticed the sign saying 15-30 min wait because it's made fresh but UE orders are usually ready upon arriving for delivery drivers. An older lady came to the window and caught me taking a photo of the sign describing how it works for delivery drivers, which was laughable. I could not hear a word she said and had to have her repeat herself several times everytime we spoke. I'm not even 30 yet so don't think she liked me and seemed to have a careless attitude. She told me 10 minutes to which I kind of side eyed and said okay. A second worker walked in and I asked the address and verified I actually was waiting on two orders. While waiting over 20+ minutes, TWO other delivery drivers arrived and their food orders were immediately ready. This makes zero sense. Both my orders maybe had 1-3 items in each order but to make me wait and both gentleman walked in and out really made me angry. I asked the younger lady if this was typical wait times for delivery driver's to which she responded "no, but we're down a chef also". That does not explain why I had to wait 20+ mins while the other gentleman did not. Upon posting on a local delivery group, come to find out a female coworker of mine ALSO waited 40 minutes. What gives? I can't say I'll find myself back here. And I really liked the variety of the store and considered bringing my man back here to try the catfish but I think I'll pass. I asked for a refund or to make it at the location I was at the owner said no talking about the food was already made. He didnāt empathize or offer any help with the situation. They were so rude I could hear him and the lady in the back ground talking mess. That is bad business and in the food industry you take losses with waste. I will never eat here again and pass on the word of the pot service. The owner needs an attitude adjustment. Who wants to take a $30.12 loss and not get food!
His response is a lie I did not cuss at him or get frustrated until he told me he would not refund me. Btw Iām 7 months pregnant so my hormones are everywhere. The corn was good (but u canāt really mess up corn) they sprinkled a bit of Cajun seasoning on top in one spot of the corn but, whatever. Now to the fish. It was FROZEN and fried. It wasnāt defrosted so u can taste all the WATER that was in there freezer. Not gonna lie, the breading for the fish was okay. A bit salty but edible. Shrimps were pretty good. I did enjoy the freshness of the shrimp and the batter was just right for the shrimp. But the FISH (catfish to be exact) it was badā¦like my 10 year old son would fry better fish than that, to be honest. 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND!
