The people are very nice but the 5-star reviews are extremely misleading and very confusing! The first time I came I got the gyro plate. I got to work and realized it was that thin-pressed flat frozen grocery store meat with the weird texture and gritty things inside of the meat. It's not cut off of the thing that spin and cook it slowly. I threw that away. I didn't want to base the entire place on one order so yesterday I had someone go and order the chicken pepper cheese on pita bread that the website claims is a favorite menu item I also purchased a spicy chicken Quesadilla my guest got a burrito. He liked his food however mine went into the trash again. The signature sandwich was just a pita with no seasoning some dry chicken strips big chunks of red peppers and melted cheese after putting salt and pepper sour cream ketchup and salsa it was still underwealming the quesadilla was just ok not sure if they added rice to it but it was nothing to brag about. Again the woman at the register is extremely nice and so is the gentleman in the back but after three menu items, I'm going to have to pass on this place in the future!
Response: my guest didn't like my gyro either. If I was out to write a bad review I would not have said the nice things I liked about your store or given the customer service 5 stars. I get that it is hard to be critiqued when you want to seem perfect but you are going to have to accept that not everyone's taste buds are flawed or out to get you. My guest had a breakfast burrito kind of hard to mess up eggs and sausage. Anyway, maybe you aren't as nice as people think just accept that NOT ALL of your food is good and move on because as much as you will respond so will I. Maybe your cook was swamped and didn't add the herbs to my food why can't you consider that maybe your cook didn't properly cook my food instead of always attacking customers who tried to give you a chance? There wasn't anything on my sandwich how about saying I'm sorry the cook didn't prepare the meal the way he usually does? that approach to truthful reviews may make customers give your place a second chance but you know what they say "hurt dogs holler" anyway I will make sure my guest do not return either!

Β Β Β Read moreThis place is a local liquor store with the Mexican food in the back. They also have check cashing, lottery and some grocery type items! π
You walk past the main cashier to another ordering window, then go to the main cashier line, pay, and return your receipt to the food window.
I am always looking for authentic Mexican food and this was pretty good! It tasted homemade. We ordered a carne asada burrito smothered with green sauce, enchilada style for $2 more. This burrito was served on a plate with metal silverware & was hot and good quality, served with two types of salsa on the side, but they also have ketchup and the normal selection of hot sauces at your table.
We also ordered a California burrito, enchilada style with red sauce for $2 more than the burrito price. This burrito was 25% larger than the carne asada and also good quality. The people were friendly and helpful.
