El Lorito — Restaurant in Phoenix

I only gave it 3 stars because of some factors that I'm not a fan of. 1.) the parking is terrible. If you go during their high volume times there is a chance you won't find parking, get blocked in, or have a vehicle park right next to your table while you eat. 2.) This is a food truck which means you are eating outside on picnic tables. They are parked on a dirt lot right on Broadway (a major street with tons of traffic). 3.) I find the pricing a little high, but I believe it's because you are getting authentic southern Mexico cooking and the majority of their menu is made from scratch which merits a price increase but portions seem small for the price. Having said that; the menudo is delicious. I personally am not a fan of the rest of their dishes but that's only because I don't like "Southern Mexico Cuisine" I find it too bland. Horrible place. Certain foods are good but you wait hours for it I’ve never been to a Mexican food truck and said the service was horrible, One of the guys had said “you never put in your order” when we had called twice to make sure our order was put in. When we tried showing him we called twice he didn’t even look or pay attention to us and didn’t care even though we had already payed for the food we hadn’t even gotten yet?. if they were a good Business they would have looked and told us they just didn’t put in our order and it would’ve been fine we would’ve understood and waited a little while longer. Honestly if I could give this place a negative star I would, the meat is soggy , past due and they are selling it to people, seriously I ate a Carne Asad taco from here and I couldn't even talk without throwing up.
