This is one of the worst firehouse subs I've ever been to. The day shift does pretty good, but the night shift couldn't care less. The last few subs I got from them were complete garbage. I always get the hot Italian sub and lately the bread is literally chewy (barely toasted and possibly not cooked long enough the first time). The meat and cheese is barely steamed. The whole sandwich is a complete mess, just thrown together. And tonight I had marinara sauce all over the edges of the bread and sandwiche where it was cut. Yuck... So they used a dirty knife to cut my sub. Come on people, it's not that hard to make a sub sandwich. Put a little more effort in. I thought I'd give this place another shot and it was worse this time than the last few times. Normally firehouse subs is my favorite of all the sub shops, but I could not even eat my last few subs from here. The staff at this location really ruins a good thing. Do better!!! People are paying a lot of money for your food!!! I do not think I will return, which is a shame. I was so excited they put one in...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAfter a long stressful day of traveling from DC to Phoenix, we were in need of a quick but tasty meal to get us the rest of the way to Sedona. Not being familiar w/ places closing early out here we saw Firehouse was still open. Walking in the manager greeted us, but also apologized as their POS system was down much to our dismay. The manager seeing how crest fallen we were asked if we had cash, which thankfully we did, and he hand wrote out our order to put into the POS when it was back online. Weāve been Firehouse fans for a long time and it maybe the travel exhaustion/delirium talking right now but these were the best subs ever. Fresh ingredients, hot and tasty. It truly hit the spot. The manager and his staff did what they could to accommodate other customers who came in after us, so that no one walked away hungry. So follow that bright red open sign in the dark and get yourself a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIāve always enjoyed Firehouse location off Carefree highway, but after a recent visit to the Anthem location, I wonāt go to the Anthem store again. I walked in , there were 3 people behind the counter- 2 looked up , and then continued on with what they were doing. The third didnāt even notice I walked in. No greeting of any kind. I waited in line for 10min without being acknowledged at all. A group walked in 15min after me and the same two people that ignored me greeted them and began chatting it up! Apparently they knew one another⦠There are a lot of places to get a sandwich, donāt waste your time here⦠And after all that, the sandwich wasnāt even very good. Dried out meatballs and hard...
