Unfortunately I have a poor update. I loved this place...i liked their food and the staff was so nice... however they recently changed their prices. They were already over priced, but for kosher food I could see it being competitive. They charged originally $10.95 for Mac n cheese; now it's $12.95!! It was outrages before now it's unacceptable. What a price gouge. Also when we received the Mac n cheese it definately was not a portion worth $12.95! This is not a high end resturant why do they have high end prices? There are other options out there... Like Manhattan and Imperial. La Bella gouges the kosher community because they don't have many options, but I for one won't pay those prices its absurd. In May my mother visited after the new management took over. Unfortunately now my mother has had a poor experience. She went in on a Sunday for coffee and breakfast bc as clearly stated by the coowner's Facebook post on May 23rd breakfast served Daily from 8am-11am (I attached a picture screen shot) well my mother and her friend stood looking at the breakfast menu when the new chef/owner and another employee behind the counter were having a personal non work related conversation...they stood there about 7min before either of them acknowledged they were there. When my mother went to order she was told by the chef/new owner that they did not serve breakfast on Sundays. She was shocked as she had just seen this posted online. The owner was rude and my mother brought up the issue of also the website being incorrect with the menu and pricing. The owner got snippy with her saying that is not his website and not for the restuarant...uh, well if you Google or Yelp this place that is in fact the website that comes up. The chef/owner was so rude that my mother clearly stated to him they were leaving and going to Imperial. The new owners' disrespect and attitude toward customers is disgraceful. I strongly urge the kosher community to stop coming here. Support the other kinder and more honest businesses and restaurants out there. Guess when a non jew owns a kosher establishment thus is what happens. This place is no longer what it was previously and they clearly...
Read moreWhy anyone would eat here is beyond me: the garlic knots we ordered took 20 minutes: they were hard in the middle (stale) and smothered in cheese - we ordered them with NO cheese. Then it was another 20 minutes for the pizza - and that came out wrong, too: I'm vegetarian and my husband's not, so we always get pizza 1/2 cheese and1/2 pepperoni and mushroom; when they brought it out, the whole pie was covered in pepperoni and mushroom. Then some guy there (manager/owner?) aggressively said, "You can eat it - it's all vegetarian." WHAT?! First of all, I also don't eat mushrooms, and the pie was covered in them; second, don't tell me what to eat - apologize for the mistake and offer to make a new pie, like any intelligent person would do; third, why weren't we told it's gonna be "fake" pepperoni? My husband's a meat-eater. Also, a very bad sign: they sevre sushi. What?! So we got our money back and left ... we glady would've stayed for another pie made right, but that was never offered to us. My husband and I both work in the service industry, we're great tippers, we're kind to people - but this place doesn't deserve our business. Or yours. Save yourself an evening of terrible food and worse service: go have a delicious meal in a wonderful environment down the street at...
Read moreI was in Friday and had the best experience. I saw tiktok posts about this place from the owner and had to see if it was worth the hype. Let me tell you it is. The staff is super and the food is delicious. The owner really cares about it and it shows. I did deduct a point for atmosphere because it was a little confusing where to order from but FYI you order at the counter in the back. I got the lunch special with two slices and a drink. I had the bianca white pizza and a slice of pepperoni. When my food was brought out they brought me ranch too and it was good but the pizza didn't need it. The owner brought me an extra slice because they couldn't sell it because it was cut "too small" so I got a bonus slice. It was all so good but I couldn't eat it all so I asked for a box. I took the extra slice to a homeless man. I had a great conversation with Yair, the owner and he was very kind and thoughtful. I am now a new customer ❤️. thanks Yair for all you do for the community. I shared the slice with a man named Daniel and he was very grateful for it . Thanks again Yair and best of luck with your business it's...
