Super nice thai place! The teenager who greeted me when i came in was extremely sweet and welcoming in! I picked up a mobile order and there was a great atmosphere. We got the pad thai (with chicken) which i feel the only reason i wouldn’t give a full 5 stars was because the chicken was actually quite hard and the first bite i took i actually had to spit out because my chicken was basically rock solid which was weird? not sure if it was just left out for too long because all of the chicken was very chewy. Rest of the pad thai was very good, very nice portion!! Spice level 3 definitely has a kick so if you want something spicy but not overwhelming i would stick with that level :) also had the crab wontons 10/10 and the thai pink milk tea which was nice and sweet! Update: Came back for a second time. ordered online and was told it would be a 25-35 minute wait. I show up after 25 minutes and get told it’ll be another 25 minute wait. I tried the chicken pad thai again, the chicken just has this almost dry & left out texture? i understand chicken breast can be dry sometimes but I couldn’t eat it. I also tried the veggie pad thai & the coconut shrimp and those were very good.

This used to be our favorite place. Food is outstanding, really good and servers are nice and attentive. The owner, however, needs work. After three of us finished our meal tonight, we got the check, signed and continued to talk and finish our drinks. The owner came over and asked if we signed our bill. I said yes, he didn’t ask about our meal, say thank you or anything, just looked at our tip amount (25%) and walked away. We continued to talk, having finished our meal maybe 5 minutes prior. and 5 minutes later he returned and said, “Do you want anything else?” I replied, “No, it was very good.” He said “You need to leave. I really need this table.” I was in shock. The manner that he said this was startling. I looked around, there were two empty tables, same size and 4 people waiting to be seated. I didn’t know if we should stay because he was being such an ass or leave immediately because he was being such an ass. We left immediately and will not be back. I tried repeatedly on previous occasions to be nice to this man, but he’s just a jerk. Really sad, because we loved everything else about this place.

This was a great spot! Will be back again. To start, we had the Crab Wontons, Chicken Pot Stickers, and Egg Rolls. All were great! The Crab Wontons were packed compared to some other places we’ve tried. Same with the Chicken Pot Stickers. The Egg Rolls were a little small but still great value. We then shared a Vegetable Pad Thai, Pad See Ew, and Pad Prik King. These were all great as well but the Pad Prik King was a little too spicy for me. If you don’t like food too spicy, I’d recommend asking for less than regular spice on this. Also, not anything to do with the restaurant but we ordered through Google Maps and the Toast integration. After the order is placed, we couldn’t find anywhere to check on the status of the order or what we had even ordered. Just disappeared. So if you order via mobile, I recommend screenshooting the Order Success screen (until Google Maps gets this updated). That’s all for this one, enjoy!

i guess i have to change my five star review. this was my favorite restaurant but how do you forget the main ingredient in an entree? i brought our food home like i always do and started to eat and i am like where is the tofu? all i got was a plate of spicy vegetables. after spending seventy dollars on a nice dinner i could barely eat mine because i was so looking forward to my favorite tofu and vegetables entree i always get, a bunch of vegetables with sauce just didn't do it for me. i couldn't go back and complain because i had to leave for work. i kept thinking about how disappointed i was i didn't get to have a nice dinner and the more i thought about i realized i can't ever go back there again now. i am not rich, pad thai cafe was a special treat once in awhile but i don't see how i can risk going there again after losing essentially seventy dollars because they can't get the most basic part of a dish right. o well, there are a lot of other thai restaurants around, im sure i can find one that i just as good. hopefully they won't let me down (and cost me so much money for nothing) the way pad thai cafe did.

disregard my previous review. (one of my favorite restaurants around. excellent vegetarian options, everything they make with tofu is incredible. the vegetables are fresh and crisp and delicious and the sauce coats them in the perfect amount of flavor. some of my favorite appetizers, i always have to get egg rolls and fried tofu i can't ever pick one. the fried rice is so good with all the little pieces of tofu i always have to order that as well even though i have already ordered too much. if there is anything i can complain about it is that they have too many delicious choices. thank you pad thai cafe. see you again soon...

A Hidden Gem for Thai Food Lovers in Northwest Phoenix

If you’re craving authentic Thai cuisine, look no further than this charming little spot tucked away in a quiet plaza in northwest Phoenix. This hidden gem serves some of the best Thai food I’ve had in the area, offering a delightful mix of bold flavors and comforting dishes.

The decor is minimalist yet thoughtfully designed, with just the right amount of Thai-inspired accents to create a cozy, inviting atmosphere. It’s a perfect balance of casual charm that makes it feel like a little piece of Thailand without being over-the-top.

The service is top-notch—friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. You can tell the staff genuinely cares about making your experience enjoyable.

Now, the food—oh, the food! It’s packed with flavor and offers a wide variety of dishes that cater to every palate. I’m a huge fan of their curries, which are rich, aromatic, and perfectly balanced. The lunch selection features several curry options, all of which are absolutely delicious and come in generous portions. Whether you prefer something spicy or mild, there’s something for everyone.

This restaurant is a must-visit if you’re in the area, and I can’t wait to return to try more from their...
