The employees/lifeguards treat people like trash. They act like we work for them. We went to the food court at 4:15 by 4:20 they started taking everything down all around us they didn't even say excuse me they just took the umbrellas down from over our heads while we were all eating and pulling some paper off each table that was in the middle. Going between customers and just pulling the paper and umbrellas. So inconsiderate of something falling on our food. Only to get done and out of there. I had ordered an extra meal so I had it in a to go box. ( Mind you the food is expensive $50 including tip) We had to go since we were being rushed, as we were leaving I was going to my bag to put my stuff in it, then an employee yelled at me and said "ma'am u can't take that out on the floor I said okay so I asked an older lady manager if I can leave it on the table till we leave she said "oh of course" so I did! We got back 30 mins later and it was gone I asked 3 of the employees if they seen my food and they pointed to the floor as they were power spraying the floor with water cleaning the floor. I said "the floor really are you serious?" One answered like a smart@$$ "yup" as she shrugged her shoulders. The other 2 started laughing then all 3 started laughing then I said so it's funny so it's "oh well? Really? I said what's so funny? They were still laughing in my face so I said where's your manager? I can careless about the food but the disrespect like if you just don't care is ridiculous. The manager just said "Oh I'm really sorry, they are still learning" she was no help so I'm positive that's why they act this way because they get away with it. I threw the food away, I couldn't risk my little one getting sick from these careless workers which by the way that has gotta be a health violation because I'm sure they wouldn't be placing people's food on the floor when they call a customer to come get it. The place itself is awesome yes I agree. The lazy river the slides and the other pools but the employees need more training on how to treat customers because they actually work for us, We pay to go in and we pay and tip these workers in the food court. If I keep seeing people being mistreated I will take this further and I will have proof! This is happening way too often at this place. Don't get me started on the lazy river and how they pull the tubes way too early and customers are practically fighting for a tube and this place hasn't even closed yet. I feel bad when I see they took the tubes away and kids want to get in the river but u can't go without a tube due to the rules. The employees are in such a rush to get out of there it's awful how customers are treated being rushed. The bad attitudes make all this 10xs worse, if they don't want to work then quit. It's that easy!!! You don't want to work around kids? Quit! There's 1 or 2 good employees but the rest are...
Read moreThis was by FAR the worst service I have ever experienced from a venue. Iâve been coordinating corporate and entertainment events for the past 10 years and booked with over 100 venues and I must say this venueâs management will be the end of them! I canât express enough how disappointed I am that we booked with this place. From the start the manager had NO customer service or emotion to work with us or assist with giving us the best experience. Iâm a firm believer in customer service and making sure your clients are taken care of and have the best experience but it seems like this venue does not value those morals.
We booked a space to do a fashion show casting and although the space was lovely the venue didnât allow us to get into the space until 15 mins early to set up and prepare for our paid booking. At 2:40pm I asked if we could possibly get in 5 minutes early because we had a lot of setting up and she didnât think twice about sating âNo, thatâs our policyâ which energy showed me she must have been having a bad day or wasnât happy with her job. We finally managed to get in at 2:47pm and set up which made us have a late start with models waiting for about 30 minutes. This made us look very unprofessional and just gave us a bad representation. We managed to get started way later than expected abut eventually had a great casting.
Our booking ended at 6pm in which we took our team into the lobby to do a brief meeting while part of our team stayed in the room to clean up with their kids sitting down in chairs waiting. The manager again comes in the space and yells at the kids that they need to get up which our assist felt offense too. âif Iâm here why not address me to talk to my kids, donât talk to my kids like thatâ she stated and then the manager left the space calling what it seemed to be her boss to update them of whatâs going on. Mind you the group I work with are creatives and some of the kindest people I know but everyone was extremely unhappy and upset with how this manager was treating us so I made the executive decision for us all to get up and walk out after a few exchanged words from my staff.
This was embarrassing and the way we were treated was not a genuine nor caring attitude. Idk if she was racist or just having a bad day but there was no love or appreciation from this manager from the start and I would NEVER recommend this place to ANY of my future clients. This experience has not left my mind since the casting and I intend on spreading the word on how this...
Read moreI would love to give this place 5 stars because my son loves to play basketball here, and MOST of the staff here are extremely friendly, professional, and helpful, but the female manager who currently works here, and one of the young female staff members who work the front desk, are both extremely rude and unprofessional. I had been in countless times before with my son, paid the $4 day use fee, and I was never charged to sit in the gym while my son played basketball. I walked in one day a couple of weeks ago, and a woman who claimed she was the manager, whom I had never seen before, or encountered in any of our previous visits, suddenly informed me that I would need to pay $6 plus the $4 day use fee for my son, if I wanted to stay there while he played basketball. I have never utilized the facilities at the center, and the only reason that I stayed is because we donât live near the recreation center, so I didnât want to waste money on gas driving back and forth. I informed the manager that I was never asked to pay the $6 fee before that day, and she proceeded to blame her staff for the oversight. Management is responsible for their staff, and, as such, if they werenât charging me the $6 fee for staying with my son on countless other visits, that falls on her, the management, not her staff. The young female staff member was the one who informed me that I would have to pay the additional $6 on this particular day, and she went to get her manager to confirm this. Neither the manager, nor the young female staff member, apologized for the error on their part, which had happened more than 20 times over the course of a couple of months. The manager and the young female staff member became argumentative and rude with me, continuing to blame other staff members for what sounded like poor training on the part of management. Bottom line, if there is a policy in place where I have to pay $6 to stay at the center while my son plays basketball, I donât want to find out about it months later. I should have been informed of this fee from the very beginning. Also, management blaming their staff for what amounts to what sounds like a management problem and not a staff problem, is highly unprofessional, and shows a lack of regard for the staff members that they are responsible for...
