Tacos Chisco — Restaurant in Phoenix

This place was a huge disappointment. They took so long to make our order that it was closing time when we got it (so almost a 35 minute wait for 5 small tacos; we had to eat them at home and so I couldn’t even go back to talk to someone about the horrible food quality). I got a carne asada taco and a bean and cheese taco (pictured) and this is what I got. The carne asada taco had nothing on it. I did ask for no cilantro, but I kept everything else. It was dry and didn't taste good. The bean one tasted a bit bitter. My partner had a nopales taco and I had a bite and it was gross. Overly slimy (I know cactus has a slimy texture, but I've had it before and this was one really really slimy). We ordered a tres leches for dessert (pictured) and I have no idea what we were given. It was super dry, no milk sauce at all (I'm Hispanic, and I know a real tres leches should be swimming in that sauce). Finally they charged us for a fountain drink knowing that it was broken. This place is very close to work & I am so happy that it was so delicious since there’s really nothing good in walking distance! I had carnitas, asada & pollo. Very delicious! Everything was great & they take Apple Pay! LOVE! They have a great kids menu for the little ones if you have kids, ice cream, they have breakfast as well including hot & iced coffees! Can’t wait to try it again but I’d love to eat there if I wasn’t working because it is very well done inside. They cook the food in front of you as well! Place has good vibes & the staff is amazing!

If I could leave a negative five star review, I would. Atmosphere was worse than a subway. Staff was distracted and not friendly. Soda machine was broken. Iced tea, which is not part of the soda machine was not made. Food was just plain bad. I ordered elotes and a bean and cheese burrito. After 7 minutes they tell me they are out of beans, I already paid for my food. So I picked a cheese quesadilla cause it was the only thing on the menu that was the same price. Well, let me tell you the elotes was the MOST DISAPPOINTING THING I EVER HAVE EATEN. One third cup of unheated CHEAP CANNED corn in a little plastic cup. I mean I make Casper the Friendly Ghost look tan and I could make better elotes, just cheap corn, mayonnaise and a little cheese. No lime, no butter, no hot sauce or even a little chile powder.
