Peace Cream - Coffee and Ice Cream — Restaurant in Phoenix

When we walked in, we were immediately greeted by the staff. They asked if we had been there before, which we hadn't. They were kind enough to give us the rundown on their menu then let us decide. They do offer samples, which went over great with my grandson. He chose the rainbow sherbet in a cup with sprinkles. FYI, Peace Cream is the only ice cream shop that offers "Superman" sherbet. Just thought I would add that. I got a traditional banana split with Nutella syrup instead of chocolate, my oldest daughter got a strawberry-banana crepe, & my other daughter got a cookies & cream frappe. All of which were VERY delicious!! Can't wait to go back for their waffles, ice cream, & coffee!! It was extremely clean. Not a sticky spot in sight (except my grandson. Lol.) I never usually put reviews for food places. I will make an exception for this dessert place. I came in and felt welcomed and comfy in the homey environment. The owner was really nice and talked to me and my friend about a variety of different topics, all while making us our delicious crepes. They even let us sample as many flavors of ice cream we wanted to make sure we chose the best flavors for ourselves! I had the pleasure of eating a Nutella+Powder sugar crepe with a scoop of Superman ice cream, while my friend ate a classic crepe with salted caramel ice cream. As you can see from my photo, I couldn't contain myself and already finished most of it before I realized I should take a picture. My husband and I came for the crepes. We love crepes and were craving some this morning. My husband had two crepes. One with caramel and the other with Maria’s amazing homemade peach jam! He thoroughly enjoyed it! My husband is a tough critic too! (We decided this may be our new Sunday breakfast spot.) I had a crepe with butter & Maria’s homemade peach jam! Yum, yum, yum! I also had a waffle with butter which was scrumptious! The coffee was delicious too! They also let me try some ice cream samples as well! They were so good! The owner, Maria, was absolutely delightful! She was so sweet and helpful! Aliya (sp?) was as sweet as could be as well! All and all, it was a wonderful experience! We will definitely be back!
