I'm new to golf and still learning my boyfriend has played since he was 9. He's been going to this golf course for years at least a few times a month, more on the winter. We have going to the driving range for me at least twice a week and planned to today. He was stuck at work so I decided to do the Thunderbird park loop instead of just waiting in the car . I drank 40 oz of water, sweaty of course and needed to use the the restroom when I got back to the golf course. I used the restroom, wiped off a little bit, Someone started knocking on the door, its a multi stall so I replied it was OK to come in no one did. I came out there were several men standing there, I said I'm sorry did somebody need to get in there and one in particular looked at me up and down with a filthy look on his face saying are you golfing today and I said well not right now but we do all the time ,still the same filthy look on his face said well that bathroom is for for patrons only it's not a public restroom, I said again we come here all the time still the dirty look on his face looking at me up and down very rude. I get it with with what's going on the fentanyl homeless, the difference I live in a 4000 sq foot house in anthem, I'm a registered nurse wearing $300 sunglasses $ $100 exercise outfit a $1,500 phone in my pocket driving a Toyota hybrid with Clean Skin, teeth and hair, just a little sweaty from exercising not being homeless on the street in the sun bending over trying to dig through trash or looking for stuff on the ground , I was so bothered by the trash everywhere, syringes on the ground etc I had planned on talking to management to see if I could put together a volunteer clean y Up,if you can't tell the difference then you need to figure it out. When I went out my boyfriend was already on the Range, I told him what happened especially the way I was looked at and talked to, he said let's go we will find a...

Can't beat the old land fill. It beat me. I had a battle. I think I won 7 skins. Maybe won the back. There is a new bridge constitution down in the wash. Thanks for our Biden infrastructure money finally rolling in. Tommorow at 9:20 AM the skins front back and total plus greenies battle will continue. I hope I have a breakout game...maybe even shoot a career low 59. Presently my handicap is 14.5...so it is unlikely and more likely I will shoot 59 on the back nine...LOL. Breaking 90 at Cave Creek would be wonderful for me. You can't beat the nice Jalapeno Burger fries and ice tea.at great Phx municple prices cooked by that cutie pie that I always tip. I can't decide if I like Aguila or Cave Creek better. Another obsession: .trying to birdie hole 8...I did lip out once from 5 feet. If your a solo grinder...the practice area...driving pitching chip putting is great and enables ones mind- to have dreams of winning the Masters... I am hoping a single will join our three some. I love to see what they have on display- can he or she talk the walk?. The backside needs one to curl it both ways and many that boast in the beginning have crumbled to pieces in agony on the backside.Golf is the the worlds greatest...

My husband played this course yesterday and was pleasantly surprised!! This is his review: Best bang for your buck for a public course, and here’s why: Found an online price for $40 for 18 holes and a cart, My wife went with me, and there is no charge for a rider, The tee boxes, fairways, and greens were all in good shape, The course is strategically layed out, Mid challenging course with 2-5 pars; 2-3 pars; and the rest 4 pars on each 9 hope set, Greens are tricky, Total cost was $67 with club rental, Rental clubs are fairly new, Views are good, You can bring your own beer! We brought a small soft cooler, and were able to bring our drinks onto the course without an issue.

Probably the only two negatives are that the course didn’t have an open snack bar and that the cart path needs a little work. The snack bar might have been closed because it was off season; they have a snack bar - it was just closed. The cart path can be a little bumpier than one might be used to, but for those looking to have a little fun, it just gives the cart driver a little...

This was my first time playing this course in a few years. All I can say is, I was pleasantly surprised. The course was in terrific shape. The greens were fantastic and fairways were decent. The course layout is slightly confusing at times but there are some extremely fun, creative holes on this beautiful track. There is so much wildlife and beauty on this course. The staff were very friendly. The range was decent and for the cost, and considering it was built on a landfill, this course is a gem in northern Phoenix. Definitely a great place to play if in the area.

For the price ($70) during what is prime season in AZ, it’s tough to beat. Is the course perfect? No. Are the tee boxes a little rough around the edges at times? Sure. But are the greens fast and have unique undulations and pin positions? YES! It’s a nice enough course, nice greens and pretty open so even some sprayed shots can stay in play and give you a chance to shoot low. Get a group together and enjoy the lower price (compared to others) and solid course with decent enough conditions. (I’m picky too, so trust me lol)

We came in for a family foursome at noon on a weekday, and it wasn’t busy (mostly because of a drizzle). Pro shop was helpful and well stocked. It’s clear the course gets a lot of play and parts are in kind of rough shape, but it’s overall pretty good. Wide open, great for kids (and those that aren’t always on the fairway from the tee). Participates in Youth On Course, so we got great green fees for the kids. Back nine is in better shape and has better placed hazards then the front. We’d play here again!
