First time here. Went to try out yhe sushi and Shrimp cocktail. The shrimp did not taste as fresh as it looked. For $20 and i was able to count 10 shrimp, for that price I would expect way more shrimp. The cocktail had excessive filler of cucumbers, tomatoes, onions. The avocados were a extra charge. I normally order the Campechena but $28 just seemed excessive cost. The michelada was good but i personally did not like sweet sugary Chamoy with my beer. The talapia a la plancha came out rubbery and like the white rice, they both lacked flavor. My bloodhound partner ordered a cheese quesadilla. She asked for no sour cream and they still brought it. She ordered a side of pico de gallo and it came in a 1 oz pkastic container. She was greatly disappointed with the portions since, surprisingly, there was an extra charge for that side request. My other companion like the carne asada tacos. We all loved the Avocado roll Sushi. This location offers drive thru service. The waitress was super attentive. Overall, for a Mexican seafood joint, it was overpriced for the quality of food you order. If we come back, it will only be for the Sushi.

We came in an hour before closing and were greeted with a smile and offered a table. The two of us shared a half dozen oysters prepared, ceviche tostada, aguarchile verde tostada and I had two tacos; tripe and pastor. Also 5 beers total about $85 Everything was flavorful and fresh. It's really hard to pick a favorite. The oysters were prepared three ways 2 aguarchile rojo, 2 aguarchile verde, 2 with ceviche and all paired with a shrimp cocktail shooter. The tripes taco had perfect crunch and meaty texture. The pastor was savory. The ceviche tostada was as expected and mostly for my date. But the aguarchile verde tostada was the standout for me, something about that cucumber and red onion screamed refreshing. Our service tonight was impeccable, the gentleman that greeted and sat us was quick to return with drinks as well as chips and salsa. He was friendly and has the most ✨gorgeous✨ eyes in South Phoenix! It was only when he came back after giving us time to decide that we learned he was training. Selena was his trainer and I can really tell where he is learning from. She was a doll!

Let me be positive and give constructive feedback for them to reach a 5 star score. Food we order fry tilapia which was perfectly cooked, crunchy outside and tender inside, a mix tostada which had a real marisco flavor not just lemon, my asada huarache was topped with Mayonnaise which looked pretty but that flavor did not go with my dish, it will give it the same fancy effect if you substitute for sour cream and it will taste a lot better. The service was polite, quick and friendly but to get a 5 star a little simple personable conversation like asking how our day was or being there for the 1st time asking us how we found out about the place would of started a nice pleasant conversation. Atmosphere is what expected music, and very clean, organized place. We will definitely come back and recommend it

My boyfriend and I were thrilled to try this restaurant, as we’re huge fans of mariscos. Imagine our disappointment when the only mariscos on the menu were the appetizers. The entrée selection? Fried fish and shrimp—how imaginative.

When it came time to order drinks, we were informed they were out of water. Apparently, a nearby construction project had shut the water off. After some negotiation, they grudgingly offered me a complimentary bottled water, as if hydrating their customers was an inconvenience. The lack of water also rendered the restrooms unusable, which turned out to be a critical issue when my boyfriend had, shall we say, tummy troubles. In a moment that would make any health inspector faint, the staff informed him to relieve himself behind the dumpsters. Yes, you read that correctly. My boyfriend, a grown man, had to poop outside, behind the dumpsters, like an alley cat with digestive issues. Needless to say, we had to take most of our food to go because, shockingly, dining in a restroom-less establishment wasn’t all that appealing.

When it came time to check out, they refused to honor the Yelp coupon for a free soda. Not only that, but there was no discount for the poor service or the fact that my boyfriend had to experience an impromptu camping trip mid-meal. As for the food: the marisco appetizer, marlin taco, and sushi were decent. However, the birria plate was drier than the service, and the beans and rice lacked flavor. To top it all off, I’ve had better tortillas from Walmart.

In short, if you like decent appetizers, questionable plumbing, and a side of dumpster-diving, this is the...

Well was a Sunday want to eat some good menudo. I figure my foods always been great here so why let me give them a try. So went inside and ask cashier if I can try a cup of menudo you can charge me whatever reasonable I just didn't want to get a big cup and wasted if I didn't like It and reason why is some ppl make it real grease not good for the heart that's why I offer to pay for even a small one. I don't know if she understood me or having a bad day but even if she was still don't give her right to be rude to and talk to me like that. When I try to explain myself and I said sorry maybe you missed understood me she told me if don't like it I can take my business somewhere else I I use buy once a week from there klnow I don't buy at all from them. I'll go pay more money go out of way I will never let any talk to me like that maybe she did it cause I'm in a wheelchair and she wanted to bully someone I have no idea I miss the food. But I will never give some money to talk to me so disrespectful . It's been a year still won't or will I ever to much pride . So I hope she no longer works there but I'm sure I'm not the only one she disrespect I notice you don't have that many cars out front hmm I wonder why . She still...
