Absolutely would not recommend this bar to anyone that wants something other than a basic rum and coke or a beer. I went for a friend's birthday and ordered 3 shots of straight crown apple for her and 2 Vegas bombs. There was multiple things wrong with this. first of all Vegas bombs are made with cranberry and they doused it in grenadine instead. When serving the crown shots they didnt chill them until I asked. Here's the part that is ridiculous...I was ordering shots they overcharged me and I confronted the owner about it first she asked if someone ordered under my tab. NO no one knows me around here. And I certainly dont frequent this bar then she tells me they charged for a drink. Now I would've ate that except that was a lie. i only had a 3rd of a cup of liquid and not even ice inside the cup to keep it chilled. They charged me for a whole shot of each liquor plus separately charging me for mixers making the "drink" come to about 14 dollars a piece. I dont even pay that in new Orleans! Little do they know I'm a bartender and know what it costs to make that drink. Absolutely horrible and when I told the owner she said well lets go talk to the bartenders then and explain. I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO EXPLAIN TO BARTENDERS! IF THEY WERE REALLY BARTENDERS THEY SHOULD HAVE KNOWN WHAT TO ASK AND HOW TO MAKE THE DRINK. Will not go again. Like I said if you only drink beer you're in the clear otherwise dont bother. $46.00 wasted and I didnt even drink the 2nd "drink" bc there was wayyyy to...

I only give the Safari store because for a dive bar in Mississippi I feel like the mixed drinks are a little expensive. I’ve been to places in Metairie and I’ve been to places on the coast where dive bars are actually cheaper for mixed drinks. Maybe it’s because everything has gone up nowadays but the beers are still $2.75 so I don’t understand why Will drinks are six dollars. Other than that everything seemed fine. Karaoke was fun dancing was fun. The outdoor patio in the back is fun. Wish the music was out there all the time but later throughout the night, they put the music on back there and it was amazing. Will never come here again...had 2 charges to my card one was for 6.75 which the manager admitted to having record of an then a 60 dollar charge that apparently theres no record of? When the worker from that night was asked about it she didn't have a legitimate answer an was blaming my fiance for being drunk.
