Chico’s Mexican Grill and Cantina — Restaurant in Piedmont

Really wanted to like it, but unfortunately, it fell super short. We ordered pineapple fajitas- chicken was so dry and flavorless. The beef burrito was over salted and void of any other flavor. The Chile relleno had a soy tasting sauce on it and hardly any cheese inside. I had to spit my first bite out as it was the worst Chile relleno I have ever tasted. They charged us for the kids drinks even though on the menu it states it's included, the waiter argued with me when I brought it up and stated their menu was worded wrong. They brought out the wrong fajita plate for my dad and even after stating 2 times to our server it was wrong, he was adamant it's what we had ordered. My dad is allergic to shrimp so he couldn't eat the plate at all. Very disappointed in the service we recieved and the over charging, and tasteless food. the food was great! However, they offer an option at the top of the checks to pay online. Great I thought! I don’t have to wait in line to pay! Well I paid online and as we were at the table about to leave our waiter came and asked us if we were paying up front and I showed him my phone and told him I had paid online. We walk out and go to the car and the waiter follows us to our car and says “are you going to pay for this or what????” I again, show my phone with the receipt saying I paid and he ran inside. My husband then took my phone and went back inside to say that it was uncalled for, rude, and embarrassing and the waiter ran to the back to hide. Very over priced! Food was ok the chicken was really dry. You pay for Sopapillas which is I believe 7.00 for one order. When you get to go you don’t get cheese, tortillas, carrot onion peppers you get a very small container of salsa the size you get from taco Bueno and some chips. Restaurant looked very clean, I can’t say the employees was courteous they have a middle age man up front with the other worker I do want to say I feel like he’s rude no thank just real dry what do you want to order I’m thinking the company lets you represent them like that a first expression is a lasting word of mouth is cheap advertising and how a company gets a lot of business.
