Monteverde 2 Mexican restaurant — Restaurant in Piedmont

Went in for lunch at the end of the week with one of my friends and our kids. Our queso was as described in other reviews as watery and ours was cold. I asked for it to be removed from bill (and it was but the server seemed hesitant and made me feel uncomfortable for asking when it was clear we hadn’t touched it). A side of french fries was $4.99. Outrageous. My daughter got a $7.99 cheeseburger kids meal that ended up being LESS expensive than a lemonade and side of fries for my 4 year old - make that make sense. My friend and I both got the fajita quesadilla and they were both covered in cheese sauce but that wasn’t how it was presented on the menu. Very little updates - felt like I was dining at a fast food restaurant except for triple the price. No interest in returning when Cancun is not even a half a mile down the street, way less expensive & better...

I was craving Mexican food all day and My aunt and I decided to have a girls time out. We decided to come and try this place out since we’ve never been here before. I have to say I was really impressed, we both enjoyed our meal, the decorations and our waitress Gabi was super sweet. Cheese dip was fantastic and I’ve never had ranch dip before until today and I was like chef’s kiss! Over all I’ll be back and if I could give it a 10 ⭐️I most definitely would!

To the rude customer that complained about the small cheese dip being 6.99$ shame on you it says it on the menu and the waitress let you know 🙄before you ordered it and saying that the girl who knew English and Spanish...

Tried again for dinner and had better experience and heat was on. Everyone so friendly and they check on you a lot. This place will give other nearby Mexican places a good needed dose of competition.

Stopped at this new place for lunch and it was decent in both service and food. Price is a tad higher than other similar restaurants in the area. For some reason they did not have any heat on and it was a bit uncomfortable so I hope they fix this issue soon. This is the only place I have seen in the area that provides the white Mexican sauce for dipping with the nachos. This is a Virginia thing and I have not seen it anywhere else except there prior to now. Will...
