Clock Drive In — Restaurant in South Carolina

I have not been here since Mr. George sold the place. My daughter and I came in here. She has eaten here many times. It was ok. A few things did not sit well with me though, like we waited patiently for our food when the guy gets his before ours. I asked and they said well he was before you, I said no he wasn't he ordered afterwards, well it was the chicken. I just went and sat down. Like really lady....you can't even tell me a good reason...... Another lady did apologize and say the chicken fingers take longer, I wanted to argue back oh really well how come they were not that hot then!!! Because I watched the other lady she got busy doing and fixed the good ole boys plate first she knew and then put ours together while it sat there a over the grease!! The lady that apologized was ordering food for the week so she had no clue! She even said sorry taking so long I had to change the password!

P S. we only got a corn dog, FF and a chicken finger salad.

Needless to say it's been 5 years and it will...

The female cashier is VERY rude. Not friendly at all. We stop in about 10 minutes til 9:00 pm. They close at 9:00 pm. The gentlemen behind the counter said they close in a few minutes. I asked if we had time for a quick hot dog. It was just me & my husband. We were on our motorcycle. The man was getting ready to drop some fries when Diane came from the back. All huffing puffing & growling, it's to go orders only. We close in a few minuutes. I said, We're just wanting a hot dog plate & a pepsi and we're on the bike. She said to go orders only. Its only about 7 minutes until 10. I said He said he'd fix it. She said well he ain't the boss. My husband said well fix it & we'll eat outside. I quite strongly disagreed with him. I WILL NEVER EAT THERE AGAIN. Mind you this is not our first incident here. There's been 2 more. But I won't get into that. Been coming to this restaurant since before it was the clock. When it was the Bantam Chef. Over. For over 35 years. I WILL NEVER EAT...

Seems to just keep going down hill. I ordered a grilled chicken salad no pickles no onion no tomatoes and add bacon. I got a salad with pickles and instead of bacon they covered it in those cheap red disgusting"fake" bacon bits. The lettuce mix has been changed and isn't good. 2 tiny packs of broken crackers. The hours aren't consistent the 2 lady's they did have working were great but now they are gone. I've given it multiple tries since the changes and it's just not what it used to be. It's rare for me to leave a bad review but for the cost of their food it really needs to come up! Atleast be sure the orders...
