Customer service is very poor and the owner is rude and under educated in running a business.

I order 2 subs for pick up as traveling there I got into a car accident and was not able to pick up my order. Waiting for police, tow truck and someone to pick me up i was not concentrating picking up my subs. My phone only had 2% battery left and was not able to call to cancel my order.

To make a long story short a friend of mind ordered subs and I offer to pick them up, as I went into country maid the girl at the register and the owner refused to give me the order that my friend paid for with her credit card. until I paid for the subs that I had previous order 3 weeks. They held my friends order hostage and would not refund her money right away until. And what happened to the 3 subs that were already made and waiting for pick as the credit card payment was in another name. She had to call three times to get any satisfaction because they kept refusing to give back her money. Which was also 40 dollars. I told the owner what had happened. His response was " I don't play that". He made me feel that i did that on purpose. My family and friends have been good customers even before he bought the store. I'm a good person with ethics. I told the owner, that things do happen and as a owner of a business he should have expected situations do arise. I'm sure someone ate the subs. I'm sorry to hear that my 25 dollar order would put him into bankruptcy. There are plenty of food restaurants that sell subs I thought he would have a little compassion and understanding. I like the food and the staff, but I asked why the guy making my food would be wiping mayo on my sandwich with his fingers, the owner said he has gloves on, again why would he be wiping mayo on my food with his fingers. I am sorry for asking a question about my food I am paying for but please understand, that is not appealing and or appetizing. Prior to this My cheesteak was greasy, because the guy making it sat the sandwich on the grill, and asking was a problem again.. I am sorry for getting annoyed but at lunch time, I just want a decent lunch and I do not have time for such things on my lunch hour..I told people the food was great, but attitude towards a good paying customer is not great. Again I apologize...

Went there this morning for some breakfast and got one of the best bacon egg and cheese sandwiches I’ve had in this area. Customer service is immaculate. Shiv, the owner is incredibly generous and definitely knows how to run a business the right way. Des who works behind the counter made my sand-which this morning and not only does she know how to work a grill, she is very pleasant to talk too. I would recommend this place to anyone that is looking to get something good...
