Wish I could give zero stars. Very bad first experience. Was on my lunch break with a friend. We got seated, sat for 5mins nothing no chips, or nothing. A couple walk in and get seated behind us they immediately get a waiter, and he takes their drink order and chats with the couple while we are still waiting on service. The waiter then gets done talking and leaves to go get their drinks. While we are still waiting. The waiter comes back, gives them their drinks, and leaves again. 10 mins in, and we still have not been asked what we want to drink or have chips. Another waiter/he said he was the manager brings the couple some cheese dip. At this point 15min with nothing and the people that came in after us have chips salsa drinks and an appetizer. I am upset and so was my friend. My friend finally had enough and asked "the manager" why we have had no service he says " I'm sorry" and starts to walk away as my friend is talking to him my friend asked why are you walking away and the manager says did we want to stay or leave. I'm very upset. If this guy really is the manager, he needs some more training. Guess I will continue to only go to tlaquepaque where they know how to treat...

Atmosphere: Bright, clean, and colorful atmosphere inside. Kid friendly but also a fun couples spot. We ate here on a Friday around 3pm, and it was very quiet and peaceful. I imagine it may be louder during peak times.

Selection: Menu may not be as broad as some places, but I love that the selections have more of an authentic feel. Chips and salsa were immediately brought to the table, and service was quick.

Food: I had lunch tamales w rice & beans. My husband ordered the chicken soup with a small salad. Food was yummy and just what I was craving.

Drinks & Dessert: Plenty of drink choices, including tea, soda, beers, and mixed drinks. Dessert choices seemed super delicious (I would love to visit again just for dessert). Churro Cupcake anyone?

Would definitely...

Sat for 12 minutes no service, while two tables after us served with their chips n salsa and drinks. I ask the person who served the table who came after us for the manager and he claimed he was yet very unprofessional. When I explained the situation he didn't try to resolve the situation by even asking us what we wanted to drink his first response is do you want to just leave? I replied I'll leave it up to the other person I was with and they said it's fine as long as we are served. The server /manager just walks away saying something unrecognizable so we at this point left. The best part is the others in the restaurant are looking at us like we did something wrong. Worst service I've...

After hiking Pilot Mountain, we stopped in town for lunch and chose El Aguacate…and wow, what an incredible choice! The food was absolutely delicious, the service was warm and attentive, and the ambiance of the restaurant was inviting and relaxing. Everything we ordered was flavorful and fresh, but the highlight of the meal was definitely dessert. Do not leave without trying the Mocha tres leches cake! It’s rich, moist, and unforgettable. Highly recommend this place for anyone passing through or looking for a top-notch dining experience. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town!

So fresh and tasty! Do not come here if you are looking for taco bell, Americanized "Mexican". This is an authentic and well cooked menu. Fresh squeezed lime juice in the margarita. Unique and flavorful dishes. We had a chirozo street taco, guac, and a chimichanga. Oh my gosh, the rice and beans were so scrumptious! I normally ignore these side dishes but they do them well here. Attentive, on point service. Cool decor. Such a treat!
