Tried this place because I have heard good things about it. Ordered the garlic knots which are listed as oven baked, which most pizza places bake them. They were brought out soaked in grease. They were obviously deep fried. They tasted like they looked. Soaked in grease. I asked the server if they were normally baked. She said yes. I asked then why were they deep fried this time. She said they started frying them because if they baked them, they would come out too hard. When I said most places across the country bake their kits she just argued with me. The pizza came out and it was fine. A little greasy but fine. The sign and menu say âBrick Oven Pizzaâ but the pizzas are baked in a normal pizza oven. I guess the brick oven is just for looks? Anyway. We had to ask for every refill, we only got one apiece after we asked.
Overall we would not drive the 25 miles to eat at this place again. Poor service, lackluster food makes for a...
Read moreOrdered chicken Alfredo and it came back with no Alfredo sauce. We told the waitress and she said âit really depends on who is cooking in the kitchenâ. She said I can take it and see what the manager will do. She came back and said âI gave you the rest of the Alfredo we had left in the potâ. Not once did she offer to have a new plate made correctly or to even take it off of our ticket. We got the chicken Alfredo back and it still looked like buttered noodles with no sauce. We were charged for the ranch that came with our wings, this place is ridiculous and to feed our family of four was $165.85 and we had one large pizza, two orders of wings, chicken Alfredo and 2 cokes. What a joke and we will not recommend...
Read moreThese servers are really rude. I should have realized this when we first dined here and they are super slow. And at the end of the meal the waitress said we can take the survey on the device but no one reads it. I'm not going to offer any free advice. The basic premise of how to allocate resources is customer first rather than stacking boxes what-not. So get a clue.
This place tries to play to a niche where they are forward looking for a place like What Hall, but end of day the service stinks and it's run by what looks like a bunch of kids. So yeah, it's nowhere near what the "Sylvia's Pizzeria" is trying to portray. Whoever owns this place...
