Original Italian Pizza — Restaurant in Pine Grove Township

So I am from around here. Their food is fine however we never get what we ordered. This isnt once twice or three times this is the 4th time in the last 6 months. Also several other orders from previous years. I am done giving our money to these people. 1st time ordered hotwing boli got a regular boli no big deal. 2nd time order hot wing boli got chicken bacon ranch. Another time I ordered garlic knots asked for extra garlic butter and got only marinara. This time I ordered 1. ham and pineapple and 1 peperoni. Instead I got a half cheese half ham and pineapple and then the peperoni was normal. Pitiful bc they have decent pizza. But my family isn't pleased with how careless they've gotten. Also we tried to fix this in the past they are less than friendly. And no oip don't you dare reach out to make this better you had your chances I'll take my business...

Looking at the pictures, I wasn't sure about the pizza but one of the other local places recommended it so I thought id try it. Honestly, I would have rather passed. The crust on the pizza has barely any color bc its undercooked. The garlic butter has water in it bc they arent using the correct butter, and only comes with the bread, not on the pizza crust, which would've at least helped. The cheese was weird and doesn't melt right so it makes it firm after cooling. Asked for cheese on breadsticks and they did, but you can see the cheese still looks rubbery. Overall, this is a pass unfortunately. So much potential on the inside as well but there is no atmosphere. Definitely not worth the $60 we spent here what so ever. Definitely an authentic Italian pizza shop with quality ingredients. Tried their pizza and bacon cheeseburger with fries. Cheeseburger came with no vegetables (perhaps I needed to request them), bun was homemade as other reviewers suggested which I didn’t care for but it was fresh. Fries were crinkle cut and a bit too well done (dark brown) so you might as to have them lightly done.

That said, pizza was amazing. I ordered a pan pizza that was pleasantly thick and had a crunchy crust done to perfection. Wide variety of drinks and even juices to choose from.

Ample room inside and a roomy covered outdoor pavilion to use on a nice day. Glad I stopped by on my travels to visit this...
