Pine Hill Tavern — Restaurant in Pine Hill

We had a terrible runner helping us last night. It was the first time of us going there as it was for a birthday gathering. The younger woman with glasses was amazing, and the blonde woman working with drinks at the front, but there was an older lady last night (assuming the runner for food) that kept coming right next to my husbands ear and sighing, coughing, and calling and talking to someone on the phone right near our table, she was not behind him, she was actually in between him and another chair of the table. We ordered the wings special all you can eat, no where on the menu it said one per person, it only said “eat in only” mind you it was just me and my husband sharing this tray, and my other friend (one of the two birthday girls) was sharing wings with her husband. We were given extra plates with the wings, and again, it did not say it was one per person on the menu. We only ordered two bowls, which she gave to us both times, before she came up to my husband and I, and said “it says EVERYWHERE we can’t share them. You can’t miss it. It’s on the menus” It did not say anything on the menu about it, and before this altercation we asked her about the menu/refills, to which she said she is not the person we need to speak to about the menu, which is understandable, but why come up to us later about the menu that you said you could not help us with? I have never went to somewhere where a worker went out of their way to make customers feel uncomfortable. The bar food is great, our server taking the food and giving us water as great, but the service we had when it came to the runner was absolutely horrible. Shouldn’t our server tell us if that is the person to ask about the menu? She was making us feel like we did something wrong, when it was no where on the menu about one per person. Whoever this lady was please re-evaluate her working there, as I know others went through this, it did not seem like it was her first time...

I come here all the time and always enjoy the food, music, and the great bartenders. Jackie, Nikki, and Rachel are amazing and quick with everything (exactly how a bartender should be!) and they never mess anything up. I enjoy seeing them everytime I go there. Went there for lunch today and Shannon was bartending/taking tables by herself. I get it, you’re by yourself… but there was no more than 15 people there and she took 10 minutes to finally come up to us and give us menus. Another 20 minutes later she took our order for wings … we waited 40 minutes for wings that never came out because “they were never put in”. Everyone at the bar and people coming in for takeout orders were getting their food before us that they ordered AFTER us. It shouldn’t take you 40 minutes to realize that someone doesn’t have their food. We asked multiple times where our food was and she kept coming out of the kitchen empty handed and with no response/update. Her service absolutely sucked. She blamed everything on “being busy” lol. I love coming to PHT and having a great time, but she needs to go. I’ve spoke to other people about this incident and they all had negative experiences with her as well. I’d hate to see her negatively impact other people’s...

The toilet has gone so far downhill that it can’t be saved. This use to be my number one spot for wings! But I will never eat them again after today. They have been going down for a while but today was is it for me. I made an order over the phone and the woman was brutal just taking the order and got nasty at moments. She told me 35 mins. I arrived there 10 mins later because I was in the area already and was going to have a drink. I sat down and told her I was picking up and she said “I told you 35 mins” all angry. I said I know I’m going to have a drink while I wait. It’s no big deal if I wait. But than My corona took 5 mins and I was the only person there with a food order and it took all of 35 mins. I get home to eat and the wings were absolutely dry and undercook. Could have cooked 5 more minutes and could use ANY sauce, the only sauce was grease.
