This is such a quaint spot for a coffee shop! It's nestled just beside a fresh food market that sells fruits, sweets, and hot sauce, to name a few. At MONDI I got a cortado and decided to sit by the river just across the street. It's such a relaxing location with ample seating tables under a canopy of trees. The location is rather secluded from other establishments and so the availability of bike parking was a surprising addition. As a coffee enthusiast, I don’t mind paying a premium for quality coffee, but this was not worth it at all. The 6oz black coffee was ridiculously expensive at $6.00 and did not justify the price. It tasted watered lacked the rich flavor I expect from a good cup of black coffee.
Additionally, the frappe was poorly made. It was overly sweet and had an odd aftertaste that was quite unpleasant. The texture was off as well, being too icy and not blended properly.
