While passing through Pinehurst, this was such a great find! I read some great reviews and was not disappointed. Atmosphere and service were very nice. The restaurant is located on a golf course, so clientele was respectful and pleasant to be around. We ordered the Thai Lunch Special with Soup of the Day (chicken and veggies) and French Onion Soup. Soup of the Day was very savory and delicious, but that French Onion was some of the best! We fought over the last few spoonfuls of soup! Salmon Pad Thai was to die for. The salad was a bit overdressed in my opinion—it ended up making it seem soggier than fresh greens. Nonetheless, dressing was very tasty, so not going to ding them for that. Spring roll and dipping sauce was also top tier, cooked to perfection—light and crunchy on the outside, warm and delicious on the inside. Portion sizes were great. Coffee was yummy. All for a great price! Definitely would go back next time we’re...
Read moreJerry and I just had our wedding at Table on the Green, and our experience was flawless, fun, and soooooo delicious. Pias and Tom were our hosts, and they presented us with an elegant room that easily allowed for our marriage ceremony, dinner, live music and dancing. Our 50 guests were seated with room to spare, we were served outstanding Thai food (American fare was an option but we wanted Thai) and an amazing panna cotta for dessert (yes, we had wedding cake too!). All the logistics of a complicated event were fluid and seamless and Everything went Right. Everyone had Fun including Bride and Groom. We could not have wished for more. I should add that Pias and Tom were up close and personal in the weeks before our event, helping with planning and all those little details that make a party perfect. Have your wedding here, that is my advice. You...
Read moreI ordered Pad Thai and mango with sticky rice for dessert. The portion of Pad Thai was laughable. I’ve never had such a tiny bowl before. The noodles were just mixed with soy sauce, some peanuts, and a tiny pieces of egg whites here and there. The specific taste of this dish was non-existent. I had added shrimp to my order and they were way overcooked and as I ate them, I had a feeling of regret because they seemed to be from a day before. Sticky rice, which I love, was so overcooked that it was just one big blah of mushy substance. What a disappointment, especially when compared to other places where I paid less and had enough food for next day. For $40 I could have had a delicious meal from one of the other Thai places in this area, which never...
