The Royal Cigar Bar & Bistro — Restaurant in Pineville

The vibe of this place as a cigar bar is way off. They need to decide if they are a cigar bar, club or restaurant. Not at all customer friendly. Music both nights i went was not enjoyable. Too loud and played only reggae Saturday night. Very poor pours and passive aggressive management. Use wait staff to communicate to customers when concerns were brought to them. If you do not mind plastic cups, this may be your place. Was told regular glasses were reserved for VIP members only.. So, if you want to watch a game, they have streaming service… with the freezing and time delay watching sports there is a total waste of time. Was there last weekend and last call was 12:20. 10 minutes later the staff is rushing people out the door by cleaning up and turning tv’s and some lights off. Growing pains, I think not. Paid for the annual membership but will not be back. Not sure they have a clear direction on their target audience. It...

What a great time to be had. This cigar lounge is fantabulous! The establishment is clean, the bar is well stocked, the food is amazing and the entertainment is over the top! Need I say more? Ohh...the staff is welcoming and let's not forget, the cigars! The humidor is stocked with a variety of cigars for beginners or the experienced cigar aficionado.

Update: The Royal continues to be the cigar lounge of choice. The humidor continues to be well stocked with premium cigars. They also offer gift sets with luxury cigar cutters and torches. Throughout the week, you can enjoy live music, themed events and an array of delicious food. It's definitely a good look for both the novice and aficionado...

My experience was absolutely wonderful. We were greeted by Dave one of the owners. He graciously gave us a run done of cigars with patients n knowledge. I am a 1st time smoker n he guided me thru how its done. He was just amazing. I then met our waiter TK. He was AWESOME very attentive, Fun and an overall a gentleman. Hats off to him... The the next owner MALIK at the bar walked around making sure we were enjoying ourselves. He even handed out lg Dark chocolate bars. When I expressed I don't eat dark chocolate, he kindly brought me back milk chocolate. Never met the cook but we def sent back oohhh and awwws back because the food was Delish, especially that CABBAGE. Ist time visiting and I will def become a memeber soon. Thank Rayal for the most amazing time... Oh and the atmosphere is def. GROWN N SEXY. Just like I like.......
