B & J Bar & Grille — Restaurant in Pittsburgh

I was recently turned on to and visited "Senor Frog" this past Thursday night, yesterday, (Wing Night) and I have to admit it was fantastic! The bar wasn’t that crowded when we first arrived, but within an hour it filled up quickly. The bar-maids were more than polite and hustled their little butts off … I seen and smelled more wings in an hour than I have seen stocked at Giant Eagle and man were they GOOD!!! I had ten honey bbq wings (soooo goooood), two taco’s (awesome) and two tall beers (excellent) and I had a full belly for less than ten dollars. There is also FREE pop-corn and pretzels … how can you go wrong?

The atmosphere was very pleasant and it had a mixed crowd that all was there for the “wings” … I highly recommend the experience and the enjoyment of the wings, after all, there are twenty-nine flavors, so there is a taste for everyone. I give this a home run and a five star recommendation.

Second Visit

This was my second visit to Senor Frogs. I have to admit that everything was righteously excellent. Spoiled the first time by the Honey BBQ wings, I couldn’t resist and had them again, but … I was with a couple of great friends and we shared the baskets … of the Ole Bay, Garlic Parmesan, and Honey Jalapeño. I am definitely impressed with the size and flavor of their wings. Tasty!!!

The girls behind the bar provided out-standing service and were pleasant to talk with. There were moments that they got pretty busy, but they kept an open eye in case you needed anything. They deserve to be applauded for their service, kindness and personalities.

The room was of mixed people of nationalities, color and gender, definitely a warm and welcoming atmosphere. A great place to mingle `n chat.

With that being said, I highly recommend a visit to Senor Frogs and enjoy the wings `n a cold brew! Two home...

Service? What service? From the moment you enter this place you begin to wonder about your personal health and safety. After hundreds of times driving by this place, some friends and I decided to stop in for the Tuesday wing night, and we left with the opinion that none of us would ever be making a return visit. I'm not sick YET, but I guess we'll have to find out what the morning brings. YOU CAN DO BETTER in this neighborhood, so don't expect much more than a crappy beer poured out of a questionable tap system into a partially-cleaned glass. And if you're getting something to eat, say a few Hail Marys first. (Actually, you'd be better off going half a mile down the street and getting a Fiori's...

This place has the best wings in Pittsburgh. Their other food is also great and I never got anything here I didn't like. My sister's loves their pizza logs. The staff has always been friendly to me.

Update 2024: I haven't tried the wings in years since prices everywhere went up. I got a burger and chicken salad to go though. The burger was burnt on the outside and raw in the middle. It kinda smelt like a grill that hasn't been clean in a long time. The salad was good and a great portion. The only part was they gave me breaded chicken instead of grilled but after the burger I am probably better...
