This establishment has wonderful retail food products from all over the Middle East. Aside from their retail groceries, the quality of the foods they now serve, have fallen way down since Covid. I bought a small container of their tabbouleh salad. It used to be so delicious, and fresh!. It was dark soggy, and didn't taste right. Their homemade hummus used to be so yummy!! and have texture from the chickpeas. It has now been reduced to a baby food paste and watered down as well... I also bought 3 pies,... meat, spinach, and cheese. These were always!! so fresh and delicious!. ...unfortunately, I had to call the store and tell them they were old and contents dried up inside!!..Are these pies dated?.. they obviously dont monitor the older pies, from the new ones!!... The spinach pie was soggy on the bottom, and tasted moldy...the cheese pie was empty of cheese as if it dried up inside... and the outside was as hard as a rock!! The meat pie was half way decent but very dry in its texture... This is NOT!! the quality it once was.... I wonder if the original owners sold it to the current owners???... because it is sooo disappointing now!!.. Also the chicken gyro spit tastes like fake processed chicken meat?? .... Their food quality has gone way down hill..... I was extremely disappointed, and let the man in charge, (owner?) know after I tasted each item purchased, when I got home. He agreed to reimburse me for the 3 pies. Still..... Very disappointing experience!! I hope they make the changes necessary to salvage their food side... I miss the way everything was before, and the great quality their prepared foods...

The food here is just so delicious. Especially the desserts. There is such a wide variety of delicious options you can choose from, so it's tough to say what was best. Honestly you should come here even if all you want is pita and desserts, since they are that good. I ordered the laham ajeen (lamb flatbread), cheese manakeesh (cheese flatbread), cherry pie, sweet cheese pie, and lamb with beef gyro (7").

As I said, all of the food was great. The gyro was relatively standard, but the meat seemed high quality. It was flavorful and tender, with a good amount of vegetables (although too much lettuce for my liking). Great pita!

The flatbreads were both quite good. I prefer Samovar's flatbreads (downtown) but these were also tasty. The lamb was very well seasoned and tasty. Great flavor and texture. The cheese flatbread had a fair amount of cheese, and they packaged it very nicely. The bread itself is crunchy on the sides and thin, great for a flatbread. Great portion for price

My favorite part of the meal had to be the dessert. The sweet cheese pie was decent, but the texture was a bit off, and the cheese itself was not sweet enough. The dough was great though, and so was the portion for the size. The cherry pie was absolutely incredible (best dessert I've had this year so far). Tons of real cherry inside, and a nice sweet and crunchy outside. Sooo good and a great price.

All in all, I can definitely see why this place is in the Top 100 places to visit on Yelp. The place makes delicious food. I especially recommend their cherry (and likely other fruit) pies. The flatbreads were...

Got to checkout Pitaland for the first time yesterday and it was awesome! Besides just being delicious food, some of us are reading about, or have doctors telling us to do, the Mediterranean diet for better health. So, here we are at Pitaland... finding the Mediterranean food!

Each person behind the counter was friendly. The food was cooked hot and fresh to order and reasonably priced. There's a counter with about 10 barstools to enjoy your food. There's a pastry case with favorites, like the best baklava I've tasted yet, and new (to me) flavors, like a minimally sweet, (similar to) cream cheese pastry with a floral flavor that was fun to try and that I have to have again! There were at least 15 different goodies in that case!

I'm surprised they don't have tables and haven't had to expand! They also sell their homemade pita and dips, along with other Mediterranean delights in the store! You can see some of my treasures below. They have been around since 1980ish! I'm just sorry I didn't find them sooner. Can't wait to go back! So much more to...

I’ve been a loyal customer of Pitaland for years, especially because of their pita bread. It used to be perfect—fresh, soft, and delicious even after freezing. I’d take it out of the freezer, microwave it for 2 minutes, and it would come out just like the first day I bought it. However, something has clearly changed recently. Over the past few days, the pita bread has been completely different. After microwaving, it starts cracking right away and feels dry and stale. It doesn’t look, taste, or feel the same as it used to. I follow the same process as always, but the quality has gone downhill. It makes me wonder if they’ve changed the recipe or are cutting corners on ingredients to save money. Ironically, they’ve already raised the price of the bread, so why compromise on quality? This is now the worst pita bread I’ve ever had, and it’s disappointing to see such a drop in standards from a place I once trusted. Pitaland, please go back to your original recipe. Customers like me are willing to pay for quality, but not for this cheapened version.
