De Fer Coffee & Tea — Restaurant in Pittsburgh

We visited De Fer for breakfast on Valentine's Day and had an amazing experience. My family and I tried the scones, baked oatmeal, and squash hand pie and they were all absolutely delicious.

The atmosphere of the shop was quaint and cozy, with lots of seating options to choose from. The unique artwork on the walls gave the space a lot of character.

This is hands down the best coffee shop in the city of Pittsburgh/ greater Pittsburgh region. My wife, son, and I have made it a tradition to visit here on Sundays when we’re in town.

They have Lattes, smoothies, pastries, and even cook unique one of a kind breakfast sandwiches that are to die for. Very interesting ! Surprised to find this place tucked away on Try Hill. Apparently, this one of more locations, as 2 of 3 employees present said they didn’t “normally work at this store” and could not help with directions to the Troy Hill Art Houses that were just doors away.
