Berger and Green — Local services in Pittsburgh

100% dissatisfied with these people. I heard from them 2 times during my entire case (10 months). The first time was when they needed me to sign paperwork so they could get their money and when the case was over to collect their money. They literally only sent 1 paper into disability for me, which they messed up all my information and caused me weeks trying to correct myself. All the required paperwork needed to be completed in certain time limits so I would reach out with questions, as to how to fill them out, and never got 1 response in the required time limit if at all so had to "wing it" the entire time. The one time I finally got to speak with an actual lawyer from there, (when everything was over), she started being rude and read from a cue card to finish everything up for her to get paid, so I told her to go pound salt and hung up.. These people should NOT be allowed to accept any money without at least doing something. If you are trying for disability, there are several free companies out there to help you that actually help you and it's FREE.

Well, I guess I can now add liars and fabricators to this review. Yes, an office assistant did email me a few times. This person would email me a response to questions 3 days after I needed it, which does me absolutely NO GOOD!!!! She also told me that she wasn't one of the lawyers so wasn't sure on the answers, almost EVERY time. What the heck?? I would call and NEVER get an answer and NEVER a return phone call. Like I said, when I would ask you questions repeatedly, stating when I needed an answer by, not once did you respond in time so I just had to "wing it" on my own the ENTIRE time. Someone there did FINALLY turn in 1 piece of paperwork for me and screwed up all of my contact information (causing all of my personal paperwork to go to a person 2 states away that I do not get along with or want knowing all my personal information). YES, you had all my information sent to a random person 2 states away. If they hadn't been someone that knew me and contacted me about it "COMPLAINING", I would have been done right there. This caused me weeks to correct because your assistant couldn't get it done. I was told twice that you got it corrected, but it didn't get done until I was able to get a hold of social security with an embarrassing explanation. Do you know what they told me??? "Find a different attorney" (their words, not mine). I was supposed to be working with Amanda, but like I said, I spoke with her twice, signing the contract to get paid and collecting the money from the contract and both times I spoke with her she was extremely short, rude and unprofessional. She needs a job not dealing with people.

To sum up: Yes, I won my case. I said that exactly correct. "I"....... WON MY CASE!!!! You were nothing more than an obstacle through the entire process and why I wrote this review. Reminded me of running a foot race and you were an anchor with a rope tied around my waist.

I have everything documented in a timeline because I was going to take you to court for misrepresentation since you did NOTHING TO HELP, but now honestly feel it is not going to do any good anyway and will probably just be a waste of time. People like Amanda will never change and I am done with her and your company. The review is 100% honest and correct on my part. Whatever you do do not use Berger and green, they are absolutely the worst. They were supposed to go two litigation on my behalf, but they did absolutely nothing for 2 years and during the last few months I had to call repeatedly every week to get the ball moving, because they did nothing at all whatsoever for the entire 2 years I waited and then portrayed themselves As if they were working on my case; then after they got tired of me calling to check on their progress, I was told that I no longer qualified to proceed with litigation, and told me that they are only able to to get me $10,000 and would have to settle for said amount, because apparently having a severe neck injury in an auto accident of which I was a passenger that was injured during the accident and as I came to with my head on the dashboard bleeding from the face and couldn't move my neck the airbag went off afterwards blowing my head back worsening an already traumatic injury of which I did physical therapy for months and still have problems to this day and will for the rest of my life. Which, should've been a million dollar case,but instead they did absolutely nothing on my behalf except act like they would and when it came down to it they said my injury wasn't bad enough to go to fight for more money and that they could only get me $10,000 and that was the best they could do and would only charge me 3,300 like they were doing me a favor, but what they didn't know is that the insurance company offered me $10,000 to settle right after the accident before I ever hired burger and green. So there you have it they did nothing but lie to me and then stole $3,300 of my money and when I got my payout of $6,700 they with held it and would only give me it in two payments Of $3,350. so it was like basically getting nothing for a lifetime of pain they are the worst lawyers ever and should be disbarred. So whatever you do don't hire this band of fools, you'd do better representing yourself than using berger and green, because they will do nothing but rob you. They did the same thing to two of my acquaintance's, whom had their own bad experiences with them, one had a ssd claim and the other was also a car accident and they did nothing for them either. We're now coming together to try to build a case against the firm for their misdeeds, so if anyone else has a similar quarry reply to this post, or one of the other posted review

I have stage 4 cancer, but when I used Berger and Green, I was misdiagnosed and treated for MS. I hired B&G got denied over and over til the court hearing. I’m summing up over 2 years…. To get to the point.

I never met my lawyer til the day of hearing. I didn’t even know his name until 2 months prior when he sent me a packet of documents to have filled out by my doctors, they were all specialists.I called him, said I can’t even get in to see them so little notice. He said “we’ll have to use what we have.” My disability is mostly neurological, forgot things right after they happened it said, couldn’t hold full conversations sometimes I would forget mid sentence everything. I was falling and many other things. I went through it all alone. Apparently, people couldn’t tell. I didn’t know what was wrong until too late but my lawyer didn’t bother to get to know me. Wouldn’t let someone I finally found to speak on my behalf, come in because it was too late, he needed to be put on some list beforehand. Did I mention I have metastatic brain tumors. Hydrocephalus??? All in all I kept telling everyone I needed help with this and with that but had No one( paralegal helped once and she was very kind) to back me up, and my lawyer said nothing.! He could have told the judge that I got lost that morning down the street from the building the hearing was in ……even though I was dropped off in the front. He blamed my being late for the reason we didn’t have enough time before the hearing to go over things.I got lost! He knows because he talked to me on phone til I found again. Now… I have to live on $700 a month because I lost my case. Add a little help with food and still less than $1000! Homeless sometimes and sick all the time. Thank you for nothing! Now, My boyfriend is also stage 4 and may need a lawyer because he needs help. I keep telling him, can’t stress enough! Don’t call Berger and Green!
