the pine lodge club is the kind of bar where the drinks are strong and cold much like the prancing pony in the fellowship of the ring where frodo baggins checks in under the name mr underhill hoping for a quiet pint and instead accidentally activates an ancient weapon of darkness by putting on the one ring in public drawing the attention of the nazgûl who have hunted him across the wild and it is at that moment that aragorn who is still known as strider a name he has used for many years while traveling the wilderness as a ranger steps out of the shadows to guide the hobbits away from danger and from there begins a journey across ruined watchtowers and ancient forests and mines lost to time and kingdoms ruled by pride and fear and one elf who speaks with the weight of centuries and sees what others cannot and in the east the shadow grows and the eye watches and the ring grows heavier with each passing mile until it reaches the fire from which it was forged and the heir of isildur takes up the sword...

Went to relax after some late night home renovations, very interesting evening. Having casual conversation with a small group when one of the individuals flips out (Ashley, local of Pollock Pines, also on probation apparently) grabs my glass of beer and throws it into the parking lot area. The feeling and atmosphere were amazing. You want a bar. This is your bar. It will be different from the town vibe, but it's a bar with 2 pool tables and great drinks. I got cocktails that tasted great, and my boyfriend got beers that were off the tab, but overall, the taste of alcoholic drinks they give are great. Price range is normal and they have specials too.
