Prices were horrible for kids. If the kids picked pancakes they either could have toppings and no bacon or sausage or bacon and sausage and plain pancakes. Otherwise they surcharge you $1.00 for crushed Oreos on kid sized pancakes, if someone told us it's $1.00 for crushed Oreos, I'd reach into my purse and pull some out and do it my self. Which is somewhat average. But the kids menu is completely tricky bc it's not that price you will pay. For 3 kids and 2 adults it costs us $60. I thought my omelette was amazing and the cost was just right. The portion was huge, I had left overs, but my husbands skillet was half the size of my omelette but nearly $5 more. Also apparently orange juice isn't an ocean spray juice because it's a completely different price. On kids menu under drinks they list Whit milk chocolate milk and all ocean spray juices with costs, no where for orange juice so you think your paying what it says under ocean spray juices. Nope youre paying much more. Also the place was freezing yesterday, everyone was...
Read moreThis time of Covid 19 presents unusual challenges as Americans strive to stay safe and do no harm to others. My men's group wanted to go for breakfast/lunch and found that BLUEBERRY HILL CAFÉ offered outdoor service. Our group arrived and while we were offered indoor seating we opted for outdoor accommodations. Quick as quick could be, a masked troupe flew into a flurry of tables, chairs and all we needed to order our meals. Our server was Denise, with an effervescent type of personality, and she quickly saw to each of our orders. Each time Denise brought something to the table it was accompanied with "And what do we have here?" Our server really made the meal and our total of 377 years were given a delightful experience. 5 hungry men sat down, 5 of us left with a new friend, and we found a great place to visit again very soon. The M.O.B. (Men of Bedford in Carillon) strongly reccomend...
Read moreMy wife, my mom and I stopped in here yesterday for some early brunch.
I've eaten here many times. The food and portions are always more than enough, the service is friendly and quick, and the atmosphere is always good.
I tried something new here yesterday. I had the breakfast corn tacos with chorizo, cheese, eggs, hot salsa sauce, and sour cream. It was one of the specials of the day. It was very tasty!
My wife had a chicken sandwich with bacon, avocado, lettuce, tomato and mayo & a side of french fries. It was a very good well made sandwich!
My mom had ordered a mushroom omelette, some wheat toast, with a side of pancakes. She said it was very good. I forgot to take a picture lol but I'll take her word for it!
Overall always great! If you're looking for a great breakfast or a great brunch head on into Big Apple Cafe, you will not be disappointed. See you...
