Tried to post this on their Facebook page, but don't think it made it: "I am following up regarding a review posted by my husband on Google. To echo his sentiments, our experience was horrible. I don't know if it was because we are Caucasian or if there is some other ridiculous reason we were treated the way we were. We were completely neglected, and the food we received was by no means worth the price we paid. I agree, his red snapper was a carcass of a fish with virtually no meat on the bones. I was absolutely shocked when I saw it. My plate had white rice, french fries, some sort of garlic toast, and lettuce. I thought we were eating at a Mexican restaurant. Where was the Spanish rice and beans? Guacamole was nothing but onions, some tomatoes, and maybe a slight spread of avocado. I couldn't even eat it the red onions were so strong, plus it was like biting into a whole onion. As my husband said on Google, we waited forever for service, were never checked on once we got our food, and waited an eternity for our check. I didn't even want to leave a tip. But, I did... and, after we left I actually wished I could go back and take it back the service was so bad. Like he said, it was around 8pm on Sunday, January 23rd. There were only two waitresses working, and she was the younger of the two although still at least in her 40s if not more. And also like my husband said, we enjoy the culture and are always well received when we try to participate... but, not here. Maybe if you are of Latin heritage you would find this acceptable, but not in our eyes. So much so we have both left comments, and there is nothing management can do to fix that now. What's done is done. We had very high hopes for an excellent meal... but, all we got was disappointment and...
Read moreOh my ... never again . Service was horrible . We waited for ever for our food to come out and restaurant wasn't busy at all it was a Sunday evening around 8pm . Waitress never came back to check on us and to ask if everything is ok or if we need a refill , but she was singing (just as bad as she was waitressing ) on the karaoke . Food was bad too . I ordered garlic grilled snapper and got just a carcass of it no meat on it at all , garlic shrimp came with white rice , potato fries and a toast . Waitress dropped off the cans of diet coke with no straws or glasses and we had to ask for that . They playing the music off the YouTube on TV through couple speakers , so loud you have to scream to a person sitting next to you if you want them to hear you . I love Mexican culture , food and people and almost everywhere I go in this area , I get good service and treatment - not in this place . Sorry , never again and I don't recommend it to anybody . We even had to wait for ever for waitress to come and ask for our check . Never again , never again ... Owner did get back to me about this review , but from the questions he or she asked I realized that they haven't even read it . Although they apologized for my bad experience , for some reason I got a feeling that apology was less than sincere . Maybe...
Read moreI ordered Camarones Zarandeados and they were cold. The plate was warm and the sauce was hot (which in my opinion was the only thing good on my plate) but the shrimp was old as if this was just sitting out.I asked for no fries and extra salad. Which didn’t happen and the friend were so burnt it was 🤢 I seriously wish I wouldn’t taken a picture. My husband ordered Huanchinango a la Diabla (worse $35 ever spent, cost is not on the menu, market place value)and he said it tasted as if it was made and had ketchup. Not spicy at all. The taste wasn’t good. I was really craving shrimp but I was t able to finish it. My husband is not one to leave food or throw it out so he finished or but I honestly would not recommend this. To top it off the bill was $100 so the gratuity18% was $20 which in my pinion not worth that gratuity) waitress dropped my fork and I had to go ask for one, otherwise I wouldn’t be able to eat. I hope it was just an off day for them and bad luck for us. But I don’t plan...
