Leoni's Pizzeria — Restaurant in Plains Township

My honest review: I have bought pizza from here twice, my first experience was a specialty pizza, “taco pizza” was good, not great, but good. My second time ordering was a extra cheese and pepperoni pizza (my go to) for any pizza place. Service is good. Price is way over than it should be. The extra cheese and pepperoni pizza was mediocre, and when I state that I mean very mediocre. The pizza was room temperature, the sauce was watery and very little flavor, the cheese was greasy and cheap, the cheese slid off even at room temperature. Not to mention there was too much dough that was slightly undercooked. Let me give you guys that are not experienced in the food review game, if a company has great reviews posted all over the place, it is a huge red flag. Leoni's may be a little bit of a bare bones eatery when you walk in the front door but the menu certainly makes up for it. Lots of great choices. I had a cheesesteak which was delicious although not really a traditional cheesesteak when it came to the bread. Though the bread was absolutely delicious. Visually you wont get a traditional cheesesteak. Taste wise you'll enjoy it all the same.

The French Fry offerings are out of this world. I had french fries with cheese, bacon and jalapeños. A huge serving when you order the large with plenty of cheese and bacon and jalapeños, unlike some places that skimp.

First time trying this establishment. As part of a birthday party had the supreme pizza along with the tomato basil and mozzarella. I look forward coming in to do a full review. Just from what I had today definitely a recommendation.
