The locals kinda flock to this place, and though choices around here are few, I still think the food would draw them in even if they had more choices. They give you sizeable sandwhiches with plenty of meat, and my friend Lyndsay, who has traveled far and wide, says that the onion rings here are so far her favorite anywhere. Attached to this good food stop is a lil small grocery /convenience store, too. They are covering all your bases in this small town, and being super friendly while doing it too. 😃

In town for work for a couple weeks and asked some locals if there were any Amish or Mennonite bakeries in the area. They directed me here. I assumed (I know what happens when you assume) it was mainly a butcher shop and pastry place. Was pleasantly surprised when we walked in and found it also has a restaurant option. Sadly, we had just eaten, and unable to try the food. We did pick up a pastry and some items from the shop. Great little find. Might need to come back and try the food.

We were on way from Montana to Seattle and found this nice and cozy place to serve our hunger. I ordered egg and cheese with hash browns and they were pretty Amazon. My husband ordered oatmeal with Jojo’s and they were pretty good too. Reasonable food. Very friendly staff, clean place and clean restroom.

Traveling through on my way to Glacier park and stopped in Plains for the night! Not many options for breakfast in small towns but very glad the first place I stopped wasn’t open yet so I went on to the Butchers Nook! Its a great little spot. Nothing fancy but good food and friendly people!! I ha pancakes and sausage for breakfast and it required two plates because the pancake covered an entire dinner plate!! Pancake was good but I could only eat half and the breakfast sausage was excellent!. They have a great bakery selection and also a small store selling lots of locally produced canned goods and jams and jellies. I restocked my...

This place is a rare gem. The food was great! Portions were ample. Service was great! I ordered the chicken salad. the chicken was freshly cooked, tender and juicy and the salad came with more veggies than the standard lettuce and carrot shreds. My wife ordered the Turkey sandwich. The slices of Turkey were stacked so thick she could barely get her mouth wide enough to take a bite, and the bread was amazing (I tasted it). Definitely a place we’d stop at again when...
