The only thing here that gets the star is the Food, which was NOT bad, I will give them that. I am not likely to visit again, however. So well, It was a little early for dinner and late for lunch when I decided to check out the place, I dragged my husband with me to may be try some appetizers at least. The service 'seemed' fine except that they do not seem so fluent with English so forget about customizing your order. Anyways we decided to stick to basics, my husband ordered Green curry and I ordered the soup. Just By the way I thought to ask if the curry is served with "white rice" or can we order brown instead. And guess what the server says "No, Rice, only curry", Me (incredulously): "you mean no rice is served with the dish???", Server :"NO, No rice " Now if I am paying $18 for a curry you would naturally expect it to come with a bowl of white rice which most other restaurants give you an unlimited supply of... Me : "what are we supposed to eat the curry with?", Server: " order rice separately"... You have got to be kidding me. My husband and I like to dine out a lot, we go to all sorts of restaurants, expensive and cheap, just to experiment. So I am not saying its on the expensive end but the service doesn't even remotely justify their prices. There is more: My husband, very upset with the response changed his order to fried rice instead. I specifically told the server to bring both orders together. Everything should be fine now, right??? WRONG. a few minutes later the server brings my soup and leaves, I thought the other order should be on its way too. I wait and wait until my soup is cold ( I could've finished it, paid , left and arrived home in that time). Anyways, finally his dish arrives, which he liked. Fast Forward. we ask for the check, and guess what? yes the gratuity is already included. lol. I guess they know that if the server slams the glass of water on the corner of the table when the customer asks for it, they aren't likely to pay a good tip. I would still say its their loss, since we are usually very generous tippers even if we do not like the service. My opinion: 1) They need to train their waitstaff. I don't think they are rude, actually I think they are nice but lack manners, big time. For a restaurant that falls in the price category they do, there is no excuse for lack of training. 2) Curry, without rice? seriously? I should remind you that there are better restaurants out there, there is no reason anyone...

This is the first time we dined in; previously, we only had a take-out from Rhong Tiam about three years ago, at the beginning of the pandemics. Great experience! Friendly, efficient, and polite service (the servers prefer tips in cash, so don't forget to bring it). Amazing food. Nice pricing. All ducks are offered for $20.99, whereas the relatively neighboring Thai Ginger in Robbinsville/Hamilton, the same dishes are leaning towars $30. Nice and inviting interior with many pleasing wood accents. The place is BYOB, but there is a liquor store next door, The Wine Valley. 5 stars experience!
Even though we haven't dined inside the restaurant, we have been using their takeout services many times. The food is consistently good, the menu choices are sufficient, the preparation is fine, and the prices are more or less budget-friendly. We would specifically like to mention the restaurant's Spicy Beef Salad, Rhong-Tiam Dumplings (steamed or pan-fried, with chicken, shrimp, and cabbage, served with homemade ginger vinaigrette), and Grilled Duck Curry (charcoal grilled duck, bell peppers, eggplant, pineapples, tomatoes, bamboo shoots and basil in homemade red curry). The menu also offers several soup choices and various fried rice and noodle dishes, as well as different curries, chicken, beef, and seafood dishes. The dining area is quite spacious and the service friendly and efficient. Last but not least important is the fact that Rhong Tiam is basically the only one dedicated Thai restaurant in the area, after the Thai restaurant located in Hamilton, in Foxmoor Shopping Center went out of business...
Read moreStarted off with some Thai iced tea which was great, not overly sweet too. Tried the Thai buffalo wings, they were lightly breaded, cooked till crispy and were very tender. They didn’t have a hint of a 48 hour marinade as indicated on the menu (have no idea what is was supposed to be marinated in) as they were just like any other wing I’ve had at any other generic restaurant. They were accompanied by a generic sweet chili sauce, nothing special at all. I suggest a pass to everyone as they aren’t anything special although they were well done, but paying $9 for basically two whole run of a the mill wings isn’t worth a try. When ordering the Phad Prig Khing with chicken, the waitress stated it was spicy hot and I told her to have it prepared as usual, I’m a spicy aficionado, and it was served as such. It was spicy and cooked well, it was above average, but had no wow factor. Now the Two in Love dish was absolutely fantastic. It was bursting with flavor and was an absolute winner. Cooked perfectly and the fried Thai basil was a great accent to the dish. A note, upon entering the restaurant, the hostess told us immediately that the AC wasn’t working, I give them tons of credit in being upfront as we entered. This, to me, shows they care about their customers and giving us a choice on whether to dine or not. Anyway, the restaurant was surprisingly comfortable. The menu had many more selections I would gladly try in the future. If in the area again, I wouldn’t hesitate to stop in. Lastly, the staff was very attentive and...
