Went here for a friend’s birthday party and was greeted at the door by a strong foul odor of what I thought was sewerage. My group was seated on other side of the wall behind the door to the right of when you walk in and the smell was seemingly seeping through the wall the entire meal. Above our table was a black iron gas pipe which I believe might have been causing the rotten stench. Our server was very friendly. The waiter came over ample times to replace refreshments and check on how we were all doing. The food was good but nothing to write home about. I got the Ahi Tuna which was very fresh. I also got the Rhode Island calamari which was your run of the mill calamari. The menu said it was covered in banana peppers and garlic butter but I can’t say for certain that it came with garlic butter on it. The food was good but it wasn’t more than that and certainly not worthy of the prices their charging for the portions their serving. I did get a good laugh on my way out of the restaurant a young couple walked in and then immediately walked out and said walking passed us ā€œEw it smells too gross to eat in thereā€, to which my crew thought was reassuring because we didn’t know if it was just us that could smell it, but the smell was nauseating to say the least.

I have been to Frankie’s twice. For Easter Brunch and Mother’s Day brunch. Easter Brunch had rack of lamb, prime rib, ham, chicken piccata, baked haddock, pastas, a shrimp tier, soups, and then the breakfast items included pancakes, French toast, eggs on biscuits with gravies on the side. Bacon and sausage and little omelettes. And complimentary Mimosas!! There were so many other sides, I can’t remember them all. Mother’s Day was just as amazing. The ham was absolutely delicious! I couldn’t stop eating it. They had Turkey (very juicy) and a side of gravy along will all the other delicious side items they had for Mother’s Day. We were greeted with carnations. They certainly know how to make everyone feel welcomed. The General Manager Randy didn’t stop! He visited our table to make sure all was good. Our waitress Savanah was top notch and all the staff was on the move constantly. As soon as they would run out of an item, it was being replenished. I can’t wait to go back during the week to try some of their Pizzas and hopefully the Baked Fish will be on the menu too!!! Each time I made reservations and then changed the numbers and they were so understanding (thank you Andrew!)

We came here on a whim. One of us didn’t even know this place existed (that was me)! The ambiance is fine—a bit sterile but trying for upscale and quiet, blissfully quiet. My cocktail—a Lemon Drop martini—was one of the best I’ve ever had. We shared the Crab Cakes app from the American portion of the menu. They were DELICIOUS! Not a true Maryland crab cake, but a very good New England crab cake with generous portions and tasty dipping sauce. My fiancĆ© had the stuffed cod special and he said it was amazing! It came with very generous portions of lobster meat in the Newberg sauce and plenty of crab meat in the stuffing. I tried the chicken Ramen bowl and it was as out of this world delicious. I’ve had Ramen all over the world and this dish competes. The only negative was that the bathroom was ice cold—not pleasant for folks who need to sit. And our server could have been a bit more professional if Frankie’s wants to be competitive as a high-end restaurant. We will definitely be back!

I have been driving by Frankie's since they started building and kept wondering what has gone into the space. When I found out it was a restaurant and it was so close to our home it was added to our need to go list. When my in-laws were in town and we were trying to figure out a restaurant I remembered Frankie's and booked a late Saturday lunch.

I made a reservation unsure as to how busy they would be at that time, but it was entirely unnecessary as we were the only people in the dining room. We received a friendly greeting as soon as we entered the door and were taken right to our table.

I wasn't expecting the linen tables so we felt a little under dressed but it didn't seem, at that time, like it mattered very much. We ended up having 2 very friendly and attentive waitresses as one was going off shift during our meal. We ordered the following appetizers for a table of 6: spinach & artichoke dip and the buffalo cauliflower. Everyone at the table thoroughly enjoyed both items and ate pretty much every bite along with the fresh bread served with 2 types of butter.

Our entrees were as follows: Meatball sub, fish & chips with substituted vegetables, Philly steak & cheese sandwich, Portuguese potato flatbread and bianco pizza. When the food started coming out the manager came over to our table and explained that they had accidentally made a different pizza, unsure what kind, instead of my husband's flatbread. They still brought it over to the table so he had something to eat, luckily it was something he found appealing, and told us his flatbread would be coming out. The manager and our waitress apologized profusely many many times and we explained we were not at all upset, which we weren't, and appreciated them rectifying the mistake. The pizzas are made right in the dining room in a wood fired brick oven and were excellent. By far one of the best white pizzas I have had and it was definitely because of the extra little touch of using pesto on the crust. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals except for my brother in law who had the Philly steak and cheese. He honestly didn't eat more than a couple bites because it didn't taste very good. He ended up eating some of the "bonus" pizza that we received from the error.

Other than that one item we all very much enjoyed our meals and would definitely return. The concept of many items from many places was definitely a great choice and being a vegetarian I couldn't have been happier seeing a whole page of options I could have besides a salad. My husband and I will definitely return in the...

I dined here with 3 other family members. I made reservations for an early dinner (6:30pm) and thought it would be the perfect choice, seeing I’m vegan and every other person in the party was not. I ordered the eggplant rollatini as an appetizer and was told they were out of it, so I ordered the Kale apple cheddar salad to start. The appetizers came out for the party and the salad that was served to me was a kale and bacon (non-vegan) salad. I asked my waitress to bring it back and she apologized and stated that the kitchen was a mess, however she thought they just handed her the wrong salad. She went back to the kitchen and came back approximately 10 minutes later with the Kale apple cheddar (vegan) salad, however the spinach and cheddar (vegan) was missing from the salad. I immediately noticed and she again brought the salad back and returned telling me again that the kitchen was a mess… and that they were out of the vegan cheddar. I ate the salad.

I then ordered the Chimichurri Cauliflower Steaks, which states it is served with white rice. When she brought my main course, it was a plate with two plain roasted cauliflower steaks, however it was missing sauce of any kind and was served with mashed potatoes (non vegan). The waitress left the table before I could point out the mistakes and I had to call another waitress from another table over to request the chimichurri sauce and I let her know that the dish was supposed to be served with white rice. She stated that the kitchen was a mess tonite… and then asked if I would like some white rice. I told her no thank you.

My sister ordered the Salmon Oscar and it was supposed to be grilled salmon topped with a bearnaise sauce with lump crab meat. The dish was served without the crabmeat.

The waitress kept repeating that it wasn’t her fault. She stated multiple times that the mistakes weren’t her fault, however her job is to look at the food she is serving and to make sure it is correct. She didn’t know the menu and she should have caught every mistake that was served to my table. She never returned to ask if the food was okay, nor did she ask if we needed another drink. We called her from another table to have our waters refilled.

The bill was appproximately $270.00 without any dessert. The waitress removed my salad and main course, but honestly the service was poor, the mistakes were plentiful and I never saw a manager on the floor the entire time we were there. Nobody came to the table to express any regret of the mistakes made.

I will not be returning to...

Maybe one of the worst meals I've had in the last year.

Incredible inattentive server, Friday at 6pm and there was no crab, no steak, no veal, and a variety of other main dishes they were "out of" , already a bad sign for the weekend dinner rush.

Our calamari came out 20 minutes after we ordered, it had no banana peppers despite saying it on the menu. Also was supposed to come with sauce, not provided.

25 more minutes go by, we were not offered new drinks, but the server came and packed our calamari in a to go container and left it on the table before our mains even came out.

Lamb chops were sour, definitely spoiled. They claimed it was delivered that morning. Then a second server said it might be the seasoning. The asparagus still had the wood brown ends and were stringy and rough. The roasted fingerling potatoes were the only edible thing on the plate and I had about 3 of them before giving up on the meal as a loss.

My wife's stuffed shrimp were incredibly salty, her mashed potatoes were congealed slime, and the zucchini was cold as ice.

The only decent part of this place was the guy who came to refill our water 11 times during our meal. No manager came over to check on us. A third server just brought the bill, put it on the table and said "they took the lamb off" and walked away.

3 stars for the live guitarist. He was fun. Otherwise this would be a one star across the board. We won't be back

Steer clear of this place if you don't want to spend $100-150 for poor service and...
