Today was one of the days that Google Review’s 5 Star option wasn’t enough. Why do I say that? Because today’s combination of great food, reasonable pricing, and OUTSTANDING Customer Service merited ten stars. We had lunch at the Hungry Bull today, and shortly after we sat down, we had the pleasure of meeting Raj who brought out the menus along with his megawatt star power of a personality. He was plain old fantastic, and a real pleasure to interact with as we chatted throughout our meal on a variety of subjects. My wife and I both ordered a “Build Your Own’ version of their 6-ounce chuck, brisket and short rib burger. The burgers were $9 each and we customized them with some of Hungry Bull’s free toppings – Cheddar Cheese, Lettuce Tomato, Red Onion, Jalapenos and Bull Sauce, which is kind of like a Thousand Island Dressing. We told Raj we planned to split an order of Sweet Potato fries, and this is where his customer service went off the charts. He asked us if we had ever been here before, and when we said “no” he strongly suggested we try their regular fries because they were different and very popular. He was so persuasive (almost evangelical) about them that we accepted his recommendation and ordered the regular fries. He was 1,000% correct, those $4.50 fries were amazing. They looked like curved and very thick potato chips but weren’t exactly potato chips. Yes, they were crunchy on the outside like chips, but soft in the middle like steak fries. They were unlike any French Fry we have ever had. And the order was plenty for us to share. And then there were the burgers. Big and juicy and flavorful on super fresh rolls with fresh toppings, well they were magnificent. We enjoyed the entire experience at the Hungry Bull, and I assure you that we did not leave hungry at all.

Hungry Bull Burgers in Connecticut is a standout spot for anyone craving a top-notch burger experience. From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by the friendly and accommodating staff. The menu boasts a range of creative combos that cater to all taste preferences, each one more enticing than the last. The star of the show, however, was the beef. Each bite was incredibly tender, juicy, and flavorful, clearly highlighting the quality of the ingredients and the expertise in preparation. The combinations were well-thought-out and executed perfectly, offering a delightful mix of textures and flavors that made every burger unique and memorable. Our experience was made even more special by the manager's exceptional service. We mentioned our love for fried pickles, and although they weren't on the menu, the manager went out of their way to prepare a batch for us. These fried pickles were the best we've ever had—crispy, tangy, and perfectly seasoned. This level of attention to customer satisfaction truly sets Hungry Bull Burgers apart. In summary, Hungry Bull Burgers offers not just a meal but a memorable dining experience. The tender beef and innovative combos are reason enough to visit, but the outstanding customer service and willingness to go above and beyond for their guests make this place a true gem. We can't wait to return and try more of their delicious offerings!

Wow. Fantastic find here in Connecticut. For the longest time we've been in search for "the" burger, and I think we may have found it. The restaurant has a selection of different dishes, not just burgers... and they deliver meals that are not only extremely tasty, but innovative as well. My wife had the burger of the week, a pineapple piña colada crating that was incredibly tasty. I opted for one of their menu burgers but was not disappointed. They were able to make to order, and we asked for ours to be cooked medium so they came back to us perfect-- not the usual dry overcooked patty you can get anywhere else. (Definitely try the burger-of-the-week!) But the fries-- I've never had fries like this. Large wedges that looked like a cross between a crescent moon and surfboards, they were perfectly balanced to be slightly crispy on the outside, but nevertheless retain the flavor of the potato underneath. Honestly-- if you come, get an order of fries and try a side of a burger. Finally, and perhaps most importantly, the staff were so welcoming and amazing. The owner came by to see how we were doing and talk about their food and restaurant-- I really love supporting local eateries like this that acre for their food and customers so much. Stop by with friends and family for a great treat!

This place was simply a masterpiece through and through. I don’t know how many positive things I could say without saying the same things. The owners were absolutely a delight. Extremely friendly and welcoming, I told them we had seen a review on YouTube and wanted to check them out. We had driven almost an hour to get to them but I told them it was well worth it. We ordered 3 burgers, 2 orders of fries for just about 40$. We chatted for a while, as I waited for the food and promised them after I ate outside, I would come back and tell them how it was. As they gave me my food the nice man decided to give me 3 medium drinks on the house for the drive!!! What generosity!! I smiled and thanked them gratefully and ran out to my car. We had tried the specialty burger with the smoked brisket and onion strings, the classic American burger with bacon (done as a build your own), and the seasonal burger with caramelized onions, apples, and crispy bacon. I personally enjoyed the brisket burger, the meat was tender and cooked well, the barbecue sauce not overwhelming, and the burger was juicy and cooked perfectly medium rare. The fries are a masterpiece, a perfect combo between chips and potato wedges. Soft and light on the inside and crispy and golden brown on the outside and as always perfectly seasoned with salt. The other burgers were also thoroughly enjoyed. After telling me this was his now favorite burger place for the rest of his life, my boyfriend asked if I would go in and get him another order of fries. I smiled excited to tell these wonderful people about their delicious food. I walked inside smiling and proceeded to tell them how much we enjoyed everything. They smiled and thanked me, I then excitedly told them my boyfriends comments and then asked for the order of fries. The women smiled and asked if I liked sweet potato fries and I said yes! She then gave me an order to try on the house and told me they were unique, they came with a “maple glaze” sauce that sounded delicious. I graciously thanked her and accepted, and she told me I would have to come back for their mac and cheese. I waited a few minutes more and she gave me a large bag filled with the two different fries and the sauce. We thanked each-other again and I left. These sweet potato fries are to die for. The perfect mix between crinkle cut and wedges, perfectly crispy and salted. The maple glaze sauce? Amazing!!! Perfectly sweet and savory, brightening up the entire flavor of the fry and making me eager to dip every fry in this sauce. Hell if you put it on a flip flop I would want to eat it! I am delighted to say I will definitely be returning soon to try some more of their food. I would 100% recommend anyone and everyone to try this food, even if your not in the area. It will be worth...

I love burgers and have been on the hunt for an awesome local burger joint for a while, with mixed results. I heard about Hungry Bull from a review on YouTube (Daym Drops) and knew I had to make a trip. In short, it's awesome and totally deserves the high rating.

When we first arrived the gentlemen behind the counter greeted us and ended up chatting with us for a while. We swapped stories and dog pics, he was super friendly and engaging and talked through the menu with us.

We were wicked hungry so we decided to start with milkshakes (the restaurant is also BYOB!). Sadly, they ran out of chocolate, but the strawberry and cookies & cream still hit the spot. Prices are pretty good, ranging from just under $10 to around $15 for more specialty items.

For solid food we ordered 3 different burgers (hungry bull, RT 10, All American), disco fries, mac & cheese and a nashville hot fried chicken sandwich. The burgers were amazing, just the right hit of grease with fresh ingredients and super flavorful. You can taste the passion in the food, these folks love burgers. The chicken sandwich was spicy and had a nice crunchy shell, shout out to the house made cole slaw and pickles. The mac & cheese was creamy and cheesy and wonderful. All the sandwiches and stuff were great, but let me tell you about the FRIES:

The fries really stole they show, they are a perfect mix between puffy crispy French fry and potato chips. They have a sort of "scoop" shape and are light and crisp, but have a nice fluffy potato inside. We asked how they are made and were told it was a secret recipe so we cried.

Great staff, awesome food, fair prices. It really has everything a good burger shop needs. I can't wait...
