Very allergy aware and friendly waitstaff and chefs. Food with fun and flavorful variety, the only issue being the 45 minute wait for someone to pick up the check. Will defiantly be returning c: ****Edit, Second Visit Below*** As promised in a previous review about half a year ago, I returned to Rebel Dog once again. I can say that the service was still stellar and the staff was very transparent bout ingredients (my allergy friends can breathe a sigh of relief) they offered a binder with all recipes and their respective ingredients and were able to get together a quick and sweet breakfast for me. To be doubly sure of what I was able to eat the baker on hand who prepared the food was willing to answer questions and recall his process for cooking that morning. As pictured I had the dirty Chai scone, ad a dirty hot chocolate, “dirty’ title aside, the place was immaculately clean and the music made for a wonderful atmosphere. I would highly recommend this place.

First I want to start off and say we have been loyal customers of Rebel Dog. However, I am not sure if they have new staff or not but the mistakes and errors are out of control. My wife and I go here every Saturday. For the last three weeks our orders have been wrong 100% of the time. They just can’t get it right for some reason and it’s ashame because we really liked the place. However, they have lost us as customers forever and we will have to tell our friends who go there also. If anyone wants to message me privately I will show you photos of all our receipts, the food pictures and now the 6th card they gave us in three weeks for errors on food. The coffee is never an error but the kitchen is horrible. Here is today’s mistakes just as an example: Ordered: Bacon crispy, egg, cheese on hard roll cut in half. Received egg sandwich with no bacon, no cheese and not cut. Sausage, egg medium, cheese on bread and received burnt egg and cheese with butter Asked for napkins and received nothing. It’s just one error after another and I gave them the chance to correct it but was told to wait another 20 minutes. Evidently someone names Harrison manages the place but we have been unsuccessful in receiving a call back from anyone.

Beautiful drink selection ranging from traditional espresso based drinks and nitro cold brew, to kombucha and frothy tonics. The sandwich offerings were also interesting and well prepared. The staff was super kind and quick with both drinks and food despite being really busy when we were there. Food: The friend chicken sandwiche was good. It had a nice light crispy batter but the chicken was a little overdone at I'm the thinner sections of the cut but perfect when thicker. The bun was really nice too, crispy and buttered perfectly to match the inside. The Korean cheese steak sandwich was also good, the bread shined but the meat seemed slightly under seasoned, though the sauce and other fried veggies were so flavorful it didn't matter.

I have tried all of the Rebel Dog Coffee shops around CT. I was so excited when I stumbled across this one with a Tavern! The first time I stopped by, I went into the coffee shop section and just ordered my regular bacon egg and cheese on a plain bagel with hot sauce. The second time, I went on a Sunday for Brunch. Showed up a little late and realized I was missing all the action. They had a Trivia game going on inside the tavern. I ended up sitting outside on the patio and was completely isolated because I did not hear any of the commotion from the inside. The food was DELICIOUS!!!!!!!!!!! The service was smooth and quick. Very impressed. Extremely content with the whole experience.

This was our first time here. The waitress was super friendly and knowledgeable. The food was delicious. I ordered off of the seasonal menu. I ordered strawberry pierogis for the table and a chicken apple sandwich with chips. My friends ordered eggs Benedict. I ordered the ginger bread coffee. I unfortunately do not recall what my friend had ordered her coffee is the woman with the decorative design.. my other friend ordered the Peru, which was pretty good. I love the atmosphere, and the music was fantastic. A great rotation of music. I’m a sucker for good food and good music at the same time. We got seats within five minutes of being there. I definitely recommend it.

Rebel Dog in Plainville is easy to get to and you can't miss it on the road. Happened across another review saying the inside needed polishing up. Would agree in that if Rebel Dog upped their interior it would easily be a 6 star location. Service was fast and friendly for Lunch on 5/2/2023. Korean Cheesesteak is fantastic. Medium sized sandwich with great steak flavor. Has the perfect compliment with Korean BBQ sauce and pickled onions. Cluckin' Truffle chicken sandwich has a prefectly crispy crunch to it. Great chicken flavor with a nice truffle slaw on top. Definitely higher class food.. now if just the inside look and feel of Rebel Dog went with it...
