Apparently everybody was in the mood for chicken. The kids were begging for raising canes. Not a fan. I saw that churches had new signature hot sauce, as well as frosted strawberry pie. They also had a Honey cheddarpeno biscuit. I didn't really want to drive that far, but couldn't think of anything else that I wanted to try at that point in time. Placed my order online using the app. Thought everything would be as I ordered it. I forgot to order the pie on the app, so I placed the order once I arrived at the restaurant. I was informed that the pie had been discontinued on the previous day. They had a new pie on display on the menu board. I asked if I could try that one which was a lemon cheesecake pie but was informed that it would not arrive until the next day on the truck. I got my food from the window and did a brief check. I should have been more thorough, and I would have caught some things that were an error. The only thing I caught was my dipping sauces being not in the bag. I ordered half of the new biscuits and half of the old. I received only new biscuits. I wanted to make sure that just in case no one wanted to try or didn't like the new biscuits, they could always fall back on the old ones. I did not realize that they were all new biscuits until I got home. I ordered an eight piece of the spicy tenders. My wife said they were spicy, but they were not. In my opinion. This restaurant is notorious for giving you jalapenos to drip the juices on your chicken to make it spicy. I was fine with that. Had done that in the past with much success. To my surprise when I got home, the tenders were excessively dry, cold, and hard. Perhaps, no one ordered chicken tenders all day and I received tenders that have been cooked that morning or whenever they transitioned over to lunch. I ordered food maybe about 4:00 p.m. maybe a higher score would have been obtained if the food had been hot. Everything else was fine. Macaroni and cheese, mashed potatoes and gravy, and the biscuits. I think the biscuits could have used a little bit more of...
Read moreWish I could give this location 0 ⭐'s. I've given this location too many chances. After repetitive bad experiences in the past (2017—2018), I stopped coming here all together, with no regrets. EVERY TIME I'd go, they'd NEVER honor their promotion, deals, or coupons. It was always, "Oh, we can't except that, it has to be on the app." You show them the app, "Oh, no, it has to be printed." You print it and bring it in, "No. It has to be ordered online for a pickup." And so the circle would continue to ensure you don't receive the deal you came for. I come back today in 2023 ... THE EXACT SAME! I'm sure this can't be the same management, manager, owner, and/or employees and yet, it's still the same game. And the chicken/product is not even worth it. It's never fresh, the window in the drive-thru is broken and almost falling off the track when he tried to open it (that should've been a sign to just keep driving). This will be my ABSOLUTE LAST TIME EVER COMING HERE. If it were closed down permanently, I wouldn't...
Read moreWe went in to this restaurant and ordered a 10 piece chicken tender family meal but it was after 830pm and the restaurant closed at 9pm. The person working ended up giving us about 20 tenders, two containers of mashed potatoes, one white gravy, and one brown gravy. Everything was great at first. But when dipping the chicken tender into the white gravy there was some sort of chemical evaporation flavor on my tongue that tasted like chloraseptic or something. The white gravy smelled like chemicals. The brown gravy also smelled like chemicals and rot. I have no idea what they did to the gravy or how it’s made but I had to spit my food out and the person I was eating with had to throw up. I’m not sure if they didn’t rinse out a cleaning agent in the food bins or if someone put some sort of chemical/poison in the gravy to intentionally poison people. I could not identify the smell or taste. We had about two tenders each and had to throw away the food. We tried calling the restaurant to report but no...
