The food is nothing short of absolutely amazing. We got the chicken fetachini Alfredo, romas spicy salmon & shrimp ( shrimo substituted with chicken) with the appetizer of bread and mozzarella sticks. First of the bread is absolutely the best bread iv ever had. Crunchy on the outside and warm, soft, and just insanely good with a little bit of butter on them. 2nd the chicken fetachini Alfredo is almost perfect, normally with Alfredo places normally get 1 of 2 things wrong, the chicken being not good quality, the sauce being bland and boring and the pasta used isn't a good pasta for the dish. And this place nailed all 3 of them. The sauce is the most flavorful alfredo sauce iv had. My friend also really enjoyed her dish, the salmon was good and so was the pasta. Chicken, and sauce. The mozzarella sticks were also great. The 2 servers that where there where very attentive and sweet. And kind. You can tell they love their job a lot. The atmosphere was also very nice, quiet, and calm. It is kept very cold in this restaurant so I highly recommend bringing in a coat/ hoodie. I wish I lived in Texas to continue to try more dishes at this restaurant. Highly recommended! Came back the next day for the pizza we dident get to try, and it came out sooo good. The Alfredo and Buffalo pizza where amazingly flavorful and just awesome. We also decided to get the chocolate trilogy cake and that was a really good piece, it was very sweet but the white chocolate mousse helped balance it out and made a great cake. Highly reccomend all of these dishes!

A Memorable Culinary Experience at Roma’s Italian Kitchen Last Saturday, I had the pleasure of dining at Romas Italian Kitchen, and it was nothing short of spectacular. The moment I stepped into the restaurant, I was greeted by a warm and inviting ambiance, complemented by soft, melodious background music. The menu was diverse, offering a splendid array of dishes. I started with the mussels marinara which were cooked to perfection, followed by the chef's special pasta with shrimp and salmon. The flavors were rich and well-balanced, showcasing a remarkable blend of traditional and modern culinary techniques. What truly set Romas Italian kitchen apart was the impeccable service. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely friendly, making our dining experience truly exceptional. The highlight of the evening was the dessert, a chocolate trilogy cake that was both decadent and beautifully presented. Paired with a recommended dessert wine, it was the perfect end to a delightful meal. In conclusion, Romas Italian Kitchen is a gem that offers an extraordinary dining experience. Whether it's the exquisite food, the charming atmosphere, or the excellent service, this restaurant is a must-visit for anyone seeking a memorable culinary journey.

Second time here, couldn’t wait to come back. Had the most amazing, delicious dinner. For appetizer we had the stuffed mushrooms.. this isn’t your typical stuffed mushroom, they are over generous with the lobster chunks. 😍 For dinner, there was three of us..Person 1, Romas Combo which included Chicken Parm, Cheese Ravioli, & Fettucine Alfredo (5 stars, ravioli was the favorite). Person 2, new menu item, Lobster Ravioli, (5 stars), again, generous with the lobster.. ravioli was stuffed with lobster & cheese & then topped with chunks of lobster & sauce. Person 3, Romas spicy chicken & shrimp, what I had.. this was crazy good.. Chicken, shrimp, mushrooms, sun-dried tomatoes, and onions with Alfredo over penne. (5 stars). Please forgive me for these names lol but they wanted me to shout them out this way.. Tony Macaroni & Hobby Lobby.. Yall gave the best service & attention to us. I brought 2 new people with, who are now hooked. Me & my crew highly recommend this place. Thank you so much! 💜💜🙌🏻🙌🏻 — eating dinner with great friends at Roma’s Italian Kitchen.

Full disclaimer - I am originally from Romania , lived in the US for 20 years , however I'll try to be as truthful as possible in this review. I decided to try this place, because I read reviews about the traditional Romanian food they offer. First impression - the place is clean and with a welcoming atmosphere as you enter. The owner has welcomed us , and we had our table ready in a few minutes ( for a party of 8 ). He did inform us that all food is made fresh, on the spot, and he has also told us that some items from the menu are in short supply due to the daily demand( we arrived around 8 pm on a Saturday ) . We ended up getting the stuffed cabbage rolls and mititei . It can't get more traditional Romanian than that. The taste for the cabbage rolls ( sarmale ) was delicious , just like my grandma(s) and my mom used to make back in Romania , ages ago. The polenta served with the sarmale was a little soft for my taste, yet tasty. The skinny sausages ( mititei ) , again , tasted just like the ones I used to eat in Romania , mainly during country festivals etc. They did allow up to bring some drinks ( BYOD) , not wine nor beer , and the owner provided us with the shot glasses and ice for our party to share our drinks. We also ordered the tripe soup - another Romanian specialty - that was very tasty and with the right amount of ingredients provided to enhance it , for personal taste. For appetizer, we got the fish roe salad - that was good- even if the bread was sort of cold ( maybe to warm it up some before serving it ? ). We also wanted desert , however they were out of the traditional Romanian cake - Amandine - that I wanted, so we skipped. They also have an Italian menu that can be appealing to some clients . This is a small family own and operated restaurant , that makes fresh and tasty food. The owner was our very voluble server and his wife I understand is the main chef in the kitchen .- and she clearly knows what she's doing . They did have a lively Romanian music on the speakers and it was very enjoyable evening . All in all , if you want to try what is arguably traditional Romanian food in the Metroplex, pay them a visit. I'll return , for sure , to try the rest of the Romanian ( and maybe even Italian ) offerings they have . I have not been paid by the owner ( even if we do speak the same language ) to write this review - it's my personal opinion about this restaurant and I will welcome other future clients to write their own reviews after...

I was overly excited learning that there was a new Romanian restaurant opening here in the DFW area. My wife and I wasted no time heading out and giving it a try. Located approximately 40 minutes away from where we live, made it slightly challenging. Although, distance was hardly ever an issue for us when it came to a good old fashion Romanian meal, this time we had to think for a second because of the gas prices and all. The location was easy to find and parking lot friendly. Inside, very nice people greeted us and offered us complimentary drinks. The food was okay, and the price was acceptable. However, during our second visit, all this kind of diminished. My food was still to my standard, a platter of Mici and Fries good as usual, but my wife’s chicken schnitzel was awful. The chicken was a simple McDonald’s style chicken patty served with a small amount of fries. Honestly, I was hoping my wife would never notice it, but (really?!) that was the very first thing she did. Needless to say she didn’t even touch the food, not because of the patty but due to the disappointment she felt. She indicated, if they change $20 for a platter (the price of a hefty meal at any other restaurant) the food should be authentic and without any shortcuts. The portions were small and overpriced. Look, we’re all about supporting local business and our fellow nationals, and sometimes constructive criticism is part of it. I hate to say, but during my 34 years of stay in this neck of the woods, unfortunately I’ve seen many small businesses, Romanian, Hungarian, and others not making it due to lack of service and overpricing. To the ownership of this restaurant all I can wish is to not be one of them. WE, the Romanian community really want YOU to succeed! WE will support you in any way we can, and all we ask in return is fair business practices. Thank You and...
